You people are twisted!
Today, I took my son to the playground and watched him have fun. Minutes later, I was being shoved around and called a pedophile because I was there alone with no wife. By the time I convinced them I was innocent, my son was bawling. FML

It's such a sad and messed up world when a father can't take his own child to a park without being accused of something so horrendous.

Some people really need to mind their own business.

Were they femanazis??? Or just dumb adults either way give them a reason to shove you, deck em in the face. Show your kid who is the man!

Not to feed the trolls or anything, but I have to say that OP giving his son an example of violence as an example of what a "man" should be, is pretty much the worst response to this whole situation.

Sexism at its finest. I'm terribly sorry this happened to you OP.

When women do this, nobody cares. When men do this, all of a sudden the police are called, charges are pressed, a court date is scheduled, and you're thrown in jail. Right. Society in a nutshell.

People can be unbelievably closed minded. I'm sorry that happened, OP, but kudos to you for being a good father!

My husband wouldn't answer the door alone on Halloween for this reason. He had to take our daughter with him to the door or asked me to answer it. Shame.

If feminists say there is no sexism against men show them this, just another example on the long list

I'd rather be called a pedophile wrongfully than be raped or forced to live a shitty life. Feminism is more than just gender shaming if you research further than 9gag.

If someone says there's no sexism against men they're not a feminist. They're an idiot who mislabeled themselves and make the rest of us look bad.

#44s profile picture is that of a man, not a famous one, so it's probably he is a man and understands this.

Ok #44 I did, I did some research, and here's the facts: women get custody of children in a divorce 80% of the time, and in some states the mother is automatically given preference. Another fact, every American MALE, (not person, but man) in between the ages of 18 - 25 have to sign up for the draft, which means they could be put into the military at any time without their consent. Last fact for today, on average women get put in prison only half as often as a man who commuted the same crime, there are so many examples of things like this, look it up.

honestly those people were just being sexist and judgemental don't let them get in the way of you being a great dad :)

Wow, as if only women can be parents. I hope this doesn't stop you from taking your son to the playground or anywhere else nice.

And this, my dear friends, is sexism. Real, gross, sexism towards men. OP, I'm sorry you had to go through that and now that you have to explain to your son what the heck happened and why. You can report that to the police though, as it was assault and you can get some sort of closure out of that. I hope you can explain this to your son in a way that doesn't make any future problems, stay safe.

Dude that sucks and I feel ya, can't relate but as a stay at home dad during the day i will say it is unfair how we are treated. I can appreciate people trying to protect but damn get the facts straight first.
