Today, I had a seizure in class. Being an epileptic, I had warned my professor of the possibility that I could have one in class. She was understanding and seemed very concerned about my issue at the time. After I had the seizure, however, she asked me if I had ever tried exorcism. FML

Today, I was taking an important exam for Calculus. Out of nowhere, the kid behind me starts violently kicking my desk. I quickly turn around and yell at him. He was having a seizure. FML
Today, at work, my phone kept crashing. Without thinking, I announced that it was having a seizure. Who did I announce this to? My boss. Who also happens to have epilepsy. FML
Today, I had a seizure, and as they were loading me into the ambulance, drooling on myself, I clearly heard my mother ask the ambulance crew if they’d mind swinging by the church on the way to the hospital, you know, in case it turns out I’m not sick, just possessed by the devil. FML
Today, I had a seizure for the first time in months. My fiancé went over to my job to let them know I wouldn't be going in. My boss bitched both of us because I didn't call myself. Sure, I'll get right on that when I'm conscious. FML
Today, I actually had to reassure the girl I'm seeing that she can't "catch" my epilepsy. FML
Today, I had RA training and we were doing mock situations. During one of these, I had a seizure. Everyone thought it was fake, until I started violently throwing up. FML
Today, I explained to my teacher that I wasn't at school yesterday due to three doctor appointments for my moderate epilepsy. Yesterday was senior skip day. She gave me detention for lying. FML
Today, my professor informed me that if I didn't "show more commitment" to my choral ensemble he would give my spot to a "more interested young woman." I missed class to see my neurologist. Apparently my seizures are a symptom of lack of commitment. FML
Today, my 13 year-old son had a seizure in the middle of his history class. We were at the hospital for three hours and several expensive tests later he informed me he faked the seizure so he could get out of a group presentation. He was so proud that he was such a good actor. FML
Today, I had a mild epileptic seizure. My mom's immediate reaction was not to comfort me or call for help, but to freak out over the fact that I'd spilled my glass of milk over the floor. FML

I feel your pain. When my sister had a seizure at the day camp i was working at no one cared but when another kid had a minor spacey state the whole camp was freaking out. Needless to say we aren't gonna be there next year. Fyl

(This is my third comment on this FML to people with seizures. I feel like I'm going door to door asking if you'd like to speak about our Heavenly Father.) Anyway, I have them took and I seriously want to help people. Meds have so many side effects but there's one thing that I did (I also feel like a weight loss ad.) that helped partly fix my seizures (absent, not grand mals) even though it wasn't entirely. If you want some insight into something let me know.

Dont worry OP. it was probably her first time ever witnessing a seizure. if you had a grand mal or tonic clonic seizure those can be very scary for people. its not what they expect.

I know something that might be able to help you with your epilepsy. If you're interested, lmk because I have it too (except not as bad as you). The method didn't work for me but my mother and I are looking into something else... Long story.

I gotta say.. I never quite understood why they say compels. I feel like its not the right word for an exorcism. I mean..?sure Christ can compel you to leave.. But it's forceful.. Shouldn't it be repels? Idk..

She has likely never seem someone have a seizure before. She may have just tried to lighten the mood. It can be scary for others involved to as they don't know what to do. I say take it in stride.
