Today, an elderly patient complained because I used the words "vaginal" and "breast". I work at an OB-GYN's office. FML

"Mrs. Dickinson, I'll be inserting the speculum into your hoo-ha, and then checking your milk machines for any lumps."

You should try words like "no no place" and "chi chi"

My mom yelled at me when my best friend texted me the word "uterus" while comforting me when I was on my period. She couldn't even say it, she just pointed at the word. xD I suppose women raised back then are still used to bring quite modest. :/

I almost agreed with the comment that people back then were raised more shy. But then did some calculations in my mind. Those who are in their 70ies and 80ies now were young in 1960-1970ies. You know, thats the era of girls throwing their panties at Elvis on stage, miniskirts, bikinis, bra-burners, sex revolution, free love, etc, etc. This one you met - ask her about forever living - she is most probably from the victorian era!

Obstetrician/gynecologist. A doctor dealing with female reproductive health, basically.

Surely she has been to the Gyno before?

Ma'am, how is your bearded clam today? Any lumps in your sweater stretchers? Have you been checking your dairy section every month?
