Today, my girlfriend was mad I have so many female contacts in my phone and demanded I delete some of them. Two thirds of them are blood relatives, the rest are coworkers, and one is a friend I’ve known since primary school, who is dying of a brain tumour. Which exactly should I delete? FML

Today, my girlfriend demanded that I delete all my female contacts or she’d set my stuff on fire. Yes, that includes my mother. FML
Today, my new girlfriend demanded that I delete all my female friends' numbers. Her rationale is, “When them bitches are going through some shit, a shoulder to cry on becomes a dick to ride on.” When I refused, she promptly dumped me because she doesn’t "need a potential cheater” in her life. FML
Today, my seemingly normal girlfriend decided to erase every girl's name out of my phone. Family and all. FML
Today, my wife forced me to delete a female friend’s number off my phone because she’s jealous of our friendship. She then showed me a demonstration of what will happen if I contact her again, with a photo she got from her Facebook, gasoline, and a match to “make sure we understand each other.” FML
Today, I recently broke up with a girl I care greatly about to spare her having to deal with my mental health issues. Facebook keeps updating me with everything she does. FML
Today, my boyfriend accidentally synced his contacts to my phone. I'm not sure who I want to message first, "Amber (Big Ass)", "Kayla (Baby Girl)", or one of the other 64 with similar descriptions in parentheses. FML
Today, my girlfriend went through my phone and computer and deleted all my videos and photos of my high school girlfriend, who died when she was only 16. Her excuse was that keeping those photos was emotional cheating. FML
Today, I decided to delete my Facebook account. My older sister repeatedly called me in tears asking why I'm cutting her out of my life. It seems I can't get rid of social media without my family taking offence. FML
Today, my boyfriend of two years told me I was being too obsessive. This is the guy who has gone through my phone two separate times and deleted all of my male contacts. FML
Today, while scrolling through my contact list, I realized I have more therapists and support workers than I do friends. FML

Agree with the “delete the girlfriend“ comments. But for now, rename your female relatives in your phone. Make sure you don’t forget their “new” names.

I am so glad so many comments are sayin to delete the girlfriend’s number. If she is angry at you for having too many females in your phone, she is clearly expressing toxic behavior. Maybe she herself isn’t toxic and has been scorned before, but that doesn’t give someone the right to behave so toxic to their partner. She either has to be okay with it or she needs to be kicked to the curb. We do not tolerate toxic and manipulative behaviors in this house.

You should figure out why she feels so insecure and deal with the actual issue. It would be extremely rare to find someone who was 100% emotionally secure/healthy. Working through this sort of thing is what relationships are about. That said if every day is a battle, then yeah time to bail. Not all wars are worth fighting.
