Today, what started off as an amazing date with my girlfriend ended with me driving her drunk ass home while she sat in the backseat making out with her new boyfriend. FML

you all are trashing on OP because he drove them home instead of letting them drive. I know for a fact most drunk people will not care for a taxi and will attempt to drive home, so if he were to put them in a cab he would have to pay. so saving himself the cash he drove them instead of letting them drive and potentially getting them both killed. OPs a pretty good guy for doing that and his EX obviously didn't deserve him.

i would have let them walk all the way home and of it was her car i would have taken the keus and Rolf het that she could pick them up when she is sober again and when se would pick them up i would have a little talk with her lol

You stepped up and showed that you are the bigger person. This is your side of the story, and it shows how responsible you are, but can you imagine her telling her side of the story? "Ya, one time, I made out with a guy I just met while my boyfriend drove us home." There's no way for her to come off as being a half decent person after that. Good job, OP! Wow you still drove her home while she was making out w/her new bf in the backseat? I don't want people to drive drunk early, but I wouldn't feel sorry for her having to spend money on a taxi. Do you think she ever realized how you helped her or ever remember? As someone said you need to grow a pair or else people will take advantage of you.
