Today, the toilet on the top floor of my house burst, soaked the bathroom, and water dripped down into the kitchen and the basement for hours when nobody was home. Eight blowers and a dehumidifier later, the house is about 90 degrees and I can't leave. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Titanic
Today, I woke up to a flooded apartment. Apparently, the upstairs neighbor's bathtub had overflowed and water was pouring through my ceiling. My landlord said he couldn't do anything until the water stopped, so I spent the morning frantically trying to mop up the water while feeling completely helpless. FML
Today, I awoke to find a water pipe burst. I frantically ran down to the basement to turn off the water to the house. What I didn't expect when I reached the bottom of the stairs was to have to start dodging the falling, wet ceiling tiles. FML
Soaked
Today, I came home to my bed and most of my room soaking wet. This morning, my mom thought it would be "smart" to warm up my room by opening the skylight above my bed. There were heavy showers all day today. FML
Damage control
Today, I overloaded the washing machine and it flooded the downstairs. The flooring will have to be scrapped and drywall replaced. It's 100% my fault. Did I mention this is not my house? FML
Waterfall
Today, I rushed home after my mom called saying our upstairs had flooded. Apparently, my little brother somehow broke the toilet while unsupervised and water overflowed everywhere. It even reached my closet, shoes, and books, and everything touching my floor in my room is now wet. FML
Today, it's been two days since my upstairs neighbour's toilet started flooding both our apartments. I have to go to the bathroom with an umbrella. FML
Lemon or haunted?
Today, our boiler broke. Yesterday, it was our fridge. The day before that, the deck collapsed, and a few weeks ago the dishwasher flooded the kitchen. This is after we spent a ton of money to have the house gutted due to a mold problem. We only bought the house a year ago, and have lived in it even less. We need to move. FML
Messy
Today, after a long shift, I came home and cleaned my house so I could relax tomorrow. I finished up the night with a soothing bubble bath, which was lovely until the ceiling collapsed into the tub. I can't even wash the filth off because my bath is full of drain-clogging plaster. FML
Good times, bad times
Today, I'm stuck at home waiting on a plumber to come fix the flooding in my basement. The flooding happens when any sink, shower, or toilet in the house is used. Today is also the day that I started my period. Without water. FML
Long day
Today, after dealing with tons of drama and working a 14 hour shift, I took a shower. When I stepped out, a weak spot in the floor gave way. While falling through the floor I grabbed the toilet tank lid, which fell into the tank and broke it. Now my leg hurts and the bathroom's flooded. FML

A legitimate FML post if there ever was one. OP, I sincerely hope that most of your belongings weren't completely damaged beyond repair and that you can get all of the water up soon before more damage is done. FYL. FYL. FYL. FYL. FYL. FYL. And again, FYL!

My first thought was "****, nobody could ever survive 90 degrees CELSIUS". Then I remembered fahrenheit. Being misinformative online is one hell of a tough habit to break. Sadly the internet is not limited to the US.

@28: You are welcome. It was our pleasure to invent and provide international ingrates the Internet.

Wow, you guys dont know shit. That one magnificent snow day months ago led to a busted pipe in the two apt units above us. We live in a 3 story apartment, first floor. in short, busts pipe, we had to get the **** out, and fast. the next day, they had stopped the water flow, cleaned up the water, 3 days of LOUD dehumidifiers. sleeping was fun. 2 weeks of reconstructing, done. I never even LIKED these apartments. Anyways. You guys wouldnt know :/ i feel your pain OP. FYL:(

Um, hate to break it to you OP, but not only is your house uncomfortably hot, it will slowly and eventually start to smell like a rotten, moldy pit. Water damage stinks. Literally and figuratively.
FarSide 23
You know just the right words to cheer her up Kinga. LOL.

Why, thank you. I'm always here to help. :)

It's only 90 degrees, not too bad. I'll admit that preferably it would be lower, but it's nothing to cry about. If I were OP, I would be more concerned about my furniture/belongings
Soloman212 28
And the house itself. As was said above: it'll soon stink.

You do know that the OP was probably using the fahrenheit scale, considering he is from the U.S. In the fahrenheit scale, water boils at over 200 degrees. 90 degrees celsius would just be unbearable and fatal. And you're accusing OP of not knowing biology?
Humboldt707 0
Fahrenheit vs Celsius hmmm?
izzie2899 6
idiot, water boils at 210 degrees. Congratulations, you made yourself look extremely stupid.
