Today, one of my closest friends informed me that she wasn't going to invite me to her wedding, because I'm too shy and not enough fun, and she doesn't want her 200 or so guests to feel uncomfortable. I was the one who set the happy couple up. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Besties for life
Today, my best friend told me that I wasn't invited to her wedding, saying that I was too pretty and that I would outshine her at the ceremony. I laughed and said that she was being ridiculous. She eventually confessed the real reason why I wasn't invited: apparently I'm an annoying bitch. FML
Bye Felicia!
Today, I rang up a good friend to ask her to be one of the two bridesmaids at my upcoming wedding. Before I could ask, she let me know that she would not be attending my wedding, as, "Weddings are expensive, so I'm not attending ones for people that are just acquaintances." FML
Why though?
Today, my best friend of over 16 years is getting married. I was supposed to be her Maid of Honor. Instead I was uninvited a few weeks ago. FML
Roadie
Today, a friend asked me if I could help him set up the stage for his wedding. Feeling honored that he considered me a close enough friend to aid him on his special day, I agreed to help. Turns out we aren't so close. I was asked to leave after I was done because I hadn't actually been invited. FML
Surprise!
Today, after I spent months assisting my 'work bestie' with planning/arranging her "Surprise!" wedding, Surprise! I wasn't invited. FML
A day to remember
Today, I arrived at my best friend's wedding and found out that my invitation was no longer valid. His brother tried to explain that they'd decided to make the ceremony for family members only, then two our classmates popped out to say hello. They're not related, neither to my friend nor to his fiancée. FML
Wait, what?
Today, I was invited to a friend's wedding. When I got there, I was surprised to see that it was a surprise wedding, meaning I wasn’t invited at all. I stood there awkwardly for an hour, until the bride's mother finally noticed me and whispered, "You're not on the guest list, are you?" FML
Bridezilla strikes again
Today, I told my sister I felt like her friends didn't like me, since they were ignoring my questions, opinions, etc., in the bridesmaids' chat, but were all over each other's messages. She kicked me from her bridal party, saying her friends wouldn't want me at the bridal shower and bachelorette party. FML
Preventive measures
Today, a year after I moved out with no contact since, my former housemates texted me out of the blue to tell me I'm not invited to their wedding. Seems she thought I'd just turn up and "embarrass" myself. I never indicated that I intended or even wanted to go. FML
Today, I was told I'm not invited to my best friend's birthday party. Apparently, being divorced and childless doesn't "mesh" well with the rest of the group. My parents are still watching her kids so she can go away for the weekend. FML

I know it hurts, but I wouldn't go even if she change her mind. She obviously doesn't consider you as close a friend, as you do her.

This ungrateful friend doesn't deserve to have you at the wedding.

It hurts to be you right now, but you are better off without this loser friend of yours. AND if she is not inviting you, let the groom invite you from his side... Go there to rub it in her face!

Should've made a scene, make her feel bad. But jeez, what a bitch. Crash the wedding and scream that she's a ungrateful wench and you hope she goes to hell.

I use to have a group of 5 friends including myself that did almost everything together. 4 females and 1 male. The guy got engaged shortly after my husband and I did and decided not to invite myself and one of our female friends because he dated her and his wife to be thought I was flirting with him. Needless to say we are no longer friends. I only found out because after a party which we had in honor of their engagement and soon to be wedding he texted one of our other female friends that he would hand her her invitation but myself and another were not to get one. He has pretty much not talked to any of us since he got married. It's hard when friends decided that you can't be there to share their special moment. All you can do is wish them well and try not to hold it against them

If your shared friends are very supportive of you, have them drop your name in their speeches every few lines... "As I look back at how Derp and Derpette came together, I remember that Anonymous was with us at the time, and it was her who brought them together. I wish she could be here with us today but the bridezilla decided to be a inconsiderate bitch"

Seems like your role as a matchmaker is over. Sorry, OP.

You may think of her as a good friend, obviously feel the same about you. Real friends don't think like that!

Cheer up op, chances are down the road they will end up divorced just as you are planning your happy wedding and you can go out of your way to un-invite her. Alternatively, send them a dead animal as a wedding gift - all with a pretty bow!

If that's her criteria, she'll have to cut down her guest list quite a bit more. It's highly unlikely that all 200 of the invited guests are all super-outgoing.

That's horrible. Sounds like she's not much of a friend.

What a horrible human being. And I wouldn't count her as a friend if I were you.
