Today, my workplace had a big employee photoshoot for an ad campaign. I was there all of 30 seconds before the photographer said, "What the fuck? Look guys, this ain't an ad for facial abortions." He then asked me and another colleague to step out of the shot. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
No uggos
Today, while chatting with my work friend, our work photographer walked in saying she needed two people for a photo for our company social media. My friend said OK, and without hesitation the photographer said, while side-eyeing me, “Great. I’ll go see who else might be free to be in the picture with you.” FML
All heil!
Today, my company released its yearly magazine and I was in the background of a picture directing men around the site. It was the worst photograph I’ve ever seen. It managed to make me look like Hitler with an exposed belly, including the moustache and the salute, and I don’t even have a moustache. FML
Today, I went to a work event and was having my picture taken with a coworker. Since we had done karaoke together, someone said we should pose like we were singing. I held my hand up like I was holding a mic and opened my mouth. It looked like I was performing a sex act. My boss glared at me. FML
Fun, relaxed
Today, I found out that my company used a nice photo of my coworkers and me for their corporate website, in efforts to make their office seem fun and relaxed. This wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't just fired every single person in the photo, myself included. FML
Today, a woman kindly asked if she might take a photo of her son in our cowboy boots. Thinking it couldn't do much harm, I agreed. Ten minutes later there was a butt naked three year-old and his entire family taking pictures in my shoe store. My manager wasn't impressed. FML
Today, I was shopping with my friends and I got asked by a man if I could be in one of his commercials. I obviously said yes without thinking twice. I then found out that he wanted me to be the before picture for an acne control moisturizer. FML
Funny haha
Today, I decided to try out a new look. Hair, make-up, dress. Later, at work, a guy from our insurance came to assess the building's fire damages from 2 days ago, saying, "I'm here to take pictures of the wreckage." One of my coworkers said, "She's right over there!" FML
No situational awareness
Today, I tried to take a cute selfie in front of a café window. I didn’t realize there were people inside, specifically the café staff, who were watching see me posing, pouting, and flipping my hair for a full two minutes. When I finally realised they were there, they gave me the thumbs up while imitating my poses. FML
Good boy
Today, I spent 45 minutes getting my toddler into a cute outfit for family photos. As soon as we arrived at the photographer's studio, he made direct eye contact with me, pulled off his pants, and ran screaming into the background of someone else's shoot. He's never looked happier. FML
Today, I was walking when a man pointed a camera at me. I got bitchy about it, and said "Did I say you could take a picture?" He replied with, "No, but can you get the fuck out of the way so I can take one of my wife and kids?" I turned around, and they were right behind me. FML

Thats when you say YOLO and run back in the shot.
annie_nk 23
Never ever say yolo.
Ambient25 25
For saying YOLO I want to drown you. But #1 is right, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

no beauty isnt subjective, rational people seek symmetry
CallMeMcFeelii 14
Not one human face is 100% symmetrical. You can hunt around the world and you'll still find it isn't there. Beauty is a ****** up concept created by men and women who can't escape the reality of life. We're all beautiful, we're all ugly. It's how you choose to go about life that really makes beauty shine through the ugliness we all possess.
Ambient25 25
Perfect McFeeli. Couldn't agree more or have said it better.

# 1 is right and never say yolo
KJBanx 7
Says the attractive person
Ambient25 25
what?
CallMeMcFeelii 14
In my opinion, being attractive and being beautiful are way, way different things. You can be attractive, yet be one ugly ******* person. Beautiful is who you are, attractive is what you can be.
JustStella 28
I see why they call you McFeelii
TheAbstract 15
I McFeel you, #72.

And why not say YOLO. What do you people got against that?

How do you have a facial abortion?...
Gho5tk3y 17
@ #32 you should yell yolo and tackle a grizzly

YOLO is carpe diem for stupid people.
beelee1988 13
Never say YOLO. Always say Hakuna Matata.

At least you weren't alone OP.

Nordrag 26
actually, its probably rather professional for an ad campaign. The key to advertising is to make people pay attention to it. Therefore, pretty people sell stuff.
Omfgitsmia 15
24 while more attractive people are used for certain ads for that reaason, his words were unkind, unprofessional and unnecessary.
breakinlegs 19
that doesn't mean your an asshole to other people... u just ask then to step out nicely.
CommonSenseKarma 17
I think what 24 meant was that that's common in the advertising industry. Doesn't make it right, though.
tukies 28
I would have positioned them where you couldn't see them in the picture. Much more polite.
klorehore 24
If the photographer put it as rudely as explained, it wouldn't only be on OPs boss to speak up, but anyone really. I wouldn't be a bystander to a situation like that at least, and you'd think others would have the decency to stand up for their fellow coworkers.
Nordrag 26
I guess my mistake came in the fact that I thought nothing of the way it was said. I assumed people were more offended by the action than by the way he said it.
kaablam 17
They were probably too busy agreeing, feeling better about themselves because they aren't facial abortions. These people are assholes 2.0.
Eidolon_fml 5
Or, they could of just let her be in the picture.
mackdeezy 22
Why the hell does he care? Hes getting paid to take the picture, not be a cynical ass.
DocBastard 40
No, he's being paid to take a GOOD picture. A good photographer isn't just some monkey who pushes a button. He's being paid to set up a good shot, make sure the positioning is right, make sure the lighting is right, and prevent some ugly assface from ruining his shot. No offense, OP.
DocBastard 40
Facial abortion? I like it! From now on, I'm calling idiots "cranial abortions".
Sandman366 6
Whatever doctor started doing those first must be so rich they bought every news outlet to keep themselves out of the spotlight, since they must've done at least a hundred thousand in the last couple of weeks alone.
TiroC 25
I hope you reported him!
misUnderstood23 9
Right! I would've made that photographer's ass look so dumb in front of everybody and NOT walk around with your head down OP.
kurodansei 16
At least you're not alone. Should've asked where they were shooting such an ad campaign so you and your unphotogenic friend coukd go catch you're lucky break.
Infamous_Tora 12
You don't read very well, do you?
Lacist 19
You don't write very well too, do you?

Beauty is only skin deep...
SWC_Penguin 17
Ouch. I'm in the visual image business too and have to often make these kinds of choices based solely on people's looks. And, yeah, that not how you handle it.
Daiyuki 5
As opposed to the non-visual image business?
megstiel 16
103, well, yeah.
FezzesAreCool 18
That is seriously the most rude thing I've ever heard from a photographer.

"This ain't a place for amateur photography either"
