Today, my mother woke me up and asked to borrow money. Still groggy, I mumbled where my money stash was. She took all $300 and refuses to pay me back because I'm her son and I "owe" her. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Addict
Today, my mother asked me if she could borrow $200. Being the lovely daughter I am, I gave her my bank card to withdraw it herself. She gambled it away and maxed my bank account out. I had $1500 saved. FML
Narcissistic parents FTW
Today, I told my mom I wasn't doing very good mentally and I was looking for some support. She decided to remind me of all of the things I still haven't paid her back for. I'm now an unpaid loan, not her daughter. FML
Selfish
Today, my mom yelled at me because I refused to lend her money. The reason I won't lend her money? The last time I did, she and my dad went out and bought a Macbook and a new car instead of paying bills. Apparently, I'm being 'selfish' by keeping my own money and putting it towards university. FML
Today, I asked my mother to pay back the $50 she owes me. Rather than paying me back, she raced off to "work". She's been unemployed for 3 years. FML
A bit rich
Today, it's been months that my mom has owed me $174, and every time I ask she tells me she's too poor to pay me back. Girly bought an entire 180k dollar farm with my grandparents the day after I asked (also the money was used for gas, and she guilt tripped me into giving it to her). FML
Remember the promise you made
Today, my mom decided to go against every promise she's made to everyone once again and left us in financial ruin. How? She took advantage of my kindness, and didn't pay any of the money she owes me for driving my car, and for so much more. I'm more than $2,000 in debt now. FML
Thieves like us
Today, my mom stole my holiday money because she found it “near her bag” in my kitchen and “assumed it was hers” and she must have “forgotten it was in there all this time.” I demanded it back, but she’d already spent it on hair, nails, shoes, and a date night with dad. She won’t pay me back either. FML
Today, my mom cleaned out my bank account, saying my "no-good dad" owes her child support and that she'll get it one way or another. FML
Today, after months of helping my mother with bills because she claimed she had no money, I found out she makes way more than what I do. She just wanted my money for alcohol and drugs. FML
Today, my mother "borrowed" money from my stash to help pay for her vacation to the Dominican Republic. The same trip I'm not allowed to go on. FML

31- Thank you for the translation. :) And you are right, that's a stupid plan. OP could never steal $400 from the mom, because it's obvious she never had the money to begin with. Fail.

next time, be like 'LEAVE IM SLEEP'! #2, YOUR DUMB, Clearly the mom had no money or she wouldn't borrow any from the son. More than likely.
DocBastard 40
Be like? Leave I'm sleep?? Your dumb??? I'm going to call ahead for a cleanup in aisle 12, because I'm either going to beat the literal shit out of you for that atrocious comment or my head will asplode from the irony of it.

quite_bored 9
I'm pretty sure the saying is "Cleanup in aisle 5!" what the hell is aisle 12?
LOLSMILEYFACE331 0
Wow, your not too bright are you? If OP was truly 'groggy' I don't think they would be speaking grammatically correct. You dumbfuck.

I'm trying to imagine why you would keep money somewhere other than a bank, where it would be safe from greedy mothers and (hopefully) it will collect interest!
Valle79 5
I was thinking the same thing. You have a money "stash"? Put it the bank!
xNephilim 19
I know that I tend to spend my money when it's in my account. But I usually leave it alone when I have it somewhere. It's harder for me to monitor my spendings when I don't know how much money I have (y'know, debit cards and all). Maybe the OP's like that, too.
Luky13 0
actually my parents took about $750 out of my bank account without telling me not too long (about 5 years) ago and have yet to pay it back telling me to "just imagine that the money's there" and yelling at me whenever I bring it up. long story short, bank: less safe from money grubbing parents. i also learned that they never planned to tell me until i offered to pay for something very expensive for them.
TXjuggalo972 6
actually op could be a drug dealer..... yes I'm being serious
Ryujin_fml 0
bwahahahahahaha jugglealowtflulz
Ellen_Farrah 0
You would say that.
gpg5 19
My dad took ~$130 from me and refuses to pay it back, even after I showed him the proof he took it out. Nowhere is safe for money from greedy parents. Even with proof they will still say they didn't, or that it's actually theirs, or some other bs reason.
CptObvious420 0
My moms the same way,you shouldn't have told her a damn thing!
Carian01 0
So's mine.

Yeah, but he was groggy, he didnt know what he was doing!
perdix 31
She DID push you ought through her ******. I'd say 300 bucks is about right -- you're all even now! Happy New Year!
I_iz_B_a_troll 24
Is that how hookers make the money these days? It's only 50 to get IN the vajayjay, but if you want OUT it's an extra 300?! ******* con-artists! Literally.
perdix 31
Yeah, they've got those spikes in there that work like the "Severe Tire Damage" ones at parking garages -- you can only disengage them by swiping your credit card. The pros are getting too clever -- you're better off trying to charm amateurs with meals and jewelry.
CitrusGirl 0
I think the cost depends on how big OP was when he was born. Big baby= BIG $
APurpleWaffle 0
Yep.. he owes her for making her get pregnant in the first place. I mean, c'mon, right?! Every baby decides it wants to be concieved then he mother lets them be born. So they owe their mothers, right?!! god damn retards.. People didn't ask to be born, it's their own damn fault for getting pregnant. If you think they 'owe' you anything because you were too irresponsible to use a damn condom, you're an idiot.
monique8axel 6
That's ****** up person~
PeeNaught 3
@105...and yet you were born...where were the condoms when you were conceived...geez...asshat
snivellus 6
same, my friend's mom does that but she was planned. how does she owe her mom for decided that she wanted a baby? her mom owes her for bringing her here in the first place.
fearthereaper79 0
Punch that bitch in the face and demand the money back.
Wazilla 0
#13 yea im sure you're ready to punch your mom in the face...
ImaginaryFoe 1
You've learned a valuable lesson for a relatively low price. You're not going to win this argument with your mum and you'll likely alienate her if you keep pressing the issue. Chances are good you'll need her in the future. Chalk it up to life experience and better guard your valuables (and your tongue) from now on.
