Today, my fiancé, his mother, my father and I went out to celebrate my birthday and our recent engagement. After dinner, my father and future mother-in-law revealed to us that they had secretly been dating and were talking about also getting married. Anybody want cake? FML

Today, I went to my fiancé's mother's funeral. His step-sister proudly announced that she's pregnant with his baby and they are engaged. FML
Today, I decided I would tell my mom I'm not going to marry my fiancé because it just didn't feel right, only to walk into my own surprise engagement party. FML
Today, my fiancé told me he wants to buy an engagement ring for his mother, so that she doesn't feel left out. FML
Today, I was going to break up with my boyfriend after we went out for dinner. To my surprise, our families were also in the restaurant, to witness him propose to me. FML
Today, I planned on introducing my fiancé to my parents. After the introductions, and telling him how I hoped our relationship would have the same amount of love and commitment that has lasted my mother and father for 25 years, my parents awkwardly announced their imminent divorce. FML
Today, it is the one-year anniversary of my mother's death. It's also the day my father chose to announce his engagement, to the whole family. FML
Today, my boyfriend proposed with the perfect ring, restaurant, flowers, and champagne. He’s never been this well prepared for anything in his life, so he admitted that my mother planned the whole thing and forced him to propose, even though neither of us want to get married. She even bought the ring. FML
Today, I discovered that my father is getting married. Overjoyed and confused because I didn't know he was dating, I called him up to congratulate him, and ask who she was. Apparently, his soon to be fiancée is my mother-in-law. My wife is not happy. FML
Today, my father-in-law decided he was going to just completely take over our engagement party, so now my fiancé just wants to go to Reno and get married there. FML
Today, my fiancé's mother tried to arrange a marriage for him to a nice Indian girl, again. We've been engaged for a year, and the wedding is in a month. FML

Yeah i completely understand...ive been dating my girlfriend for 3 and a half years and about 3 months ago her mom and my dad got married...so now im dating my sister...its all about how u look at the world and your sense of humor.

ummmmmmm, how about "******* CONGRATULATIONS!" oh my ******* God. your father may have found a great woman with which to settle down with. this is a good thing, im thinking it might be a fake like from "Drive Me Crazy" but if it isnt, then you should rejoice. i would be happy with this. besides, your mother-in-law will probably be a lot nicer now. hmmmmm, (Step)-Mother-(In-Law)******** hell, that is as close to being a real mother that someone not related to you could get. lol. lol i kind of had this happen 2 me but it with a boy i've know for 9 years. he liked me and told everyone when we were little, but i did not like him back till i was like 12 now im 15, have no idea if he still likes me and my mom and his uncle got married, thank god their not together anymore (their just not devorised yet) glenn's (terences uncle) jokes got old quick hope it all works out and everyone is happy in the end. good luck!
