Today, my butt decided to delete the 650 photos I had on my phone. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.

Today, I woke up to find out that my phone, which contained all of my pictures and videos from the past year, had completely crashed. Despite trying everything, I couldn't recover any of the data, even from the cloud backup. All those memories, gone forever. FML
Today, my phone ran out of space, so I downloaded an app to store all my photos online. After everything transferred, I deleted the 1,000+ photos from my phone, along with the "recently deleted" file since it was also taking up space. The app is now empty of all "downloaded photos". FML
Today, I got home from a family trip to Disney World. I had taken nearly 300 photos of our trip on my new digital camera. As our car pulled into the driveway, I was using my camera to try to delete one unflattering shot of me. I accidentally deleted every picture off the memory card. FML
Today, I deleted a load of junk that was messing up my mother's computer. I don't know how I'm going to tell her I accidentally wiped out all of her wedding photos. FML
Today, I lost two terabytes' worth of photos to a friend's incompetence. He said he could save me some money and fix my slow computer for free. He ended up wiping the hard drive, and along with it, my photography portfolio from the last five years. FML
Today, I was trying to show my mother how much detail I'd put into a group project that I had to present tomorrow. I then deleted the project, thinking that I was just removing it from my phone. Everyone's research and my three days of hard work went with it. FML

Today, as I sat on the toilet, I mistakenly took a screenshot and then proceeded to fumble my phone. It wasn't until 5 hours later when I recharged it that I realized I had unintentionally posted the screenshot of me on the toilet to Instagram. FML
Today, I found a topless photo of my mother on my phone. Thanks, iCloud. FML
So cute
Today, my youngest decided my phone needed a bath in the toilet. FML
Today, I was informed by a laughing friend, that my phone must be taking and uploading photos to Google+. Among numerous black shots, there is a particularly nice one of me while I'm sitting on the toilet. FML

Hope it teaches you a lesson in 'backing' up data.

To be honest, that's quite impressive.

Butt, if there was a passcode, your butt couldn't unlock it and get to the photos to delete them

You have a one heck of a smartphone/buttphone 1st unlocking the screen then going to menu then gallery then selecting all the pictures then selecting delete option and confirming the yes box is a huge process. Indeed a FYL situation

I have over 25,000 pictures on my phone. I think like 15 of them are of me. Yeah, I'm not ashamed.

One of the many reasons why it's best to password protect your phone

Yes for a phone. I accidentally deleted about 1000 photos off my android. I got an app, and the one that goes with it for my laptop, and it recovered all the photos. Deleting a photo doesn't really "delete" it, it basically allows the space that was occupied by that picture to be overwritten, so as long as you don't overwrite that space with something new, it can be recovered!

If OP has an iPhone they may be backed up on iCloud for her to retrieve them. Hope you find them OP. Accidentally deleting pictures really sucks.

You should Put a password, even if you're forgetful, 1-2-3-4 can stop your butt from entering your phone

Having an ass is living with the enemy. First, it flirts with men when you're not looking, then it deletes the pictures from your phone.
