Today, my boyfriend of 5 years decided to buy a $2500 taxidermied wolf on eBay. This is the same guy who refuses to get engaged because it would "cost too much right now." FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my boyfriend came up with this thrillingly romantic proposal: “I’m paying way too much income tax. How about we get married?” FML
Today, my fiancé pawned off my engagement ring so he could buy himself a PS4. FML
Swoon
Today, my boyfriend said he wanted to marry me. Since he doesn't know my ring size, he asked for me to find a ring that I liked, and he would buy it and propose. The only problem is that he won't spend more than 200 dollars on it. Oh, the generosity. FML
Today, my fiancé told me he didn't have the money to make payments on my engagement ring and that I either have to return it, or make the payments myself. Now we aren't engaged any more, and are "dating." FML
Money first
Today, my "boyfriend" told me that he loves money more than me and would date it if he could. FML
Is she better than me?
Today, I found out my boyfriend, who is buying me a ring for my birthday, is buying my best friend a ring that cost 10 times more than mine. FML
Dependa
Today, my boyfriend called me explaining that he is getting married this weekend to a woman he met on Craigslist. Why? Because I won't marry him, and he'll make an extra thousand dollars per month having a wife since he is in the army. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me he's prepared to commit to marriage, but only if I buy my own ring and tell everyone he surprised me with it. FML
Gamba
Today, my boyfriend is 34 years-old. We’ve been together for 5 years. He refuses to propose to me because “marriage is expensive” and “kids drain your wallet.” That would be understandable if he hasn’t spent the majority of his paychecks on March Madness. FML
Today, my boyfriend proposed. He said we’d go pick up the ring tomorrow. Then he asked to borrow $40 to get it out of pawn. He pawned it when his ex gave it back to him. FML

Five years, no engagement, shitty excuses and lies? (If you have $2,500 lying around, you're fine financially) Obviously it might be time to call this quits. Before I get yelled at for saying dump him, I will say I measured this on an an individual basis. I do not say "dump him" on every relationship story. I think after half a decade, if you don't wanna stay with that person, both parties need to find people they DO want futures with instead of wasting more time.

What the hell? What a waste of money. Could have used that for car insurance or something. He might as well have burnt his 2.5k. Seems like he has enough money to.

The wolf is an investment. In a few years he can resell it for more money. Marriage just costs money, there is no turn around
