Today my boss informed us that there were no more single shifts we were all working doubles until further notice. Also there’s a way for us to “earn” a half day but we have to out sell everyone else in the office to get it. So being new I haven’t had time off in two weeks... FML

Today, I once again got less than 20 hours of work for the entire week. My boss's solution? Double the staff. FML
Today, my boss asked me to pick up more waitressing shifts because we are short-staffed. I already work seven days a week. FML
Today, after working 12 shifts in the past 8 days at 2 jobs and thinking today was a day off, I got the call that I misread my schedule and I was in fact scheduled. Got off at 2:30 am, work again at 9 am with 9 shifts to go this week. FML
Today, I got my new work schedule. I really need the hours. The boss says he can't give me more because the economy is bad. However, he did find enough hours to hire his son last week. This week? Most of my hours were erased and given to the new employee; his daughter. FML
Today, after informing my boss that I needed stress leave from my 70-hour-a-week shifts, I got my new work assignment. Sixty hours a week, starting at 2 a.m. FML
Today, exactly 19 seconds after I logged on, my boss Zoom-called me to let me know 3 people are out sick, probably until Monday, so if I wouldn’t mind doing their work as well so we don’t fall behind, within working hours, no overtime available. He wasn’t happy when I told him no. FML
Today, over half of my coworkers have called out for various reasons and my manager is on her third week of vacation. My coworkers keep calling out. I'm the only closer. I just want a day off. FML
Today, I was told I would also be covering some of my boss's shifts next week. She gets to go on a vacation to Europe with the bonus we earned her last year. That's why she was tightening our deadlines to the point where some of the employees had to hire babysitters for their children so we could stay at work. FML
Today, it's my first day as the boss, after waiting months for this promotion. Today is also the day my replacement, who I trained for three months, quit. Now I've got two jobs for the price of one. FML
Today, despite the schedule saying I was off, I found out I’m supposed to be working because my boss changed the schedule without my knowledge. FML

Oh you "poor" thing. No time off in 2 whole weeks? How ever will you live? Get over yourself. There are people who literally never get time off. Quit bitching and do your job like the rest of the world.

You have to have been working a certain amount of time before you earn days off. "Being new", you don't get time off right away.

no matter how new you are, you're supposed to get a day or two off every week. They dont mean holidays, just a shift off

And since you're in sales, you're probably on salary or commission and not even getting overtime. Find a new line of work.

If your in the usa the federal labor laws say they have to give you two days off per fortnight (no not the game) and to work you every day of the week like that they have to inform the department of labor and get permission. They can only have you work like that for couple of times a year (I think a total of a month or two a year). My uncle works for a auto manufacturer and told me about how they have to do that to have them work the month straight a year that they do.
