Today, my mother posted a video of me giving birth, on Facebook. FML
Today, my dad found the ugliest picture my mom has ever taken. I show it to her laughing. She said it looks like me. I looked again and it kind of does. FML
Today, my father decided to "prepare" me for the real world by telling me that I'm ugly. FML
Today, my teacher was giving a lecture about human genetics and how they are passed on to children. She projected a large picture of a baby on to the screen in the front of the room. I then joked about how this ugly baby must have some very unattractive parents. It was her baby. FML
Today, feeling very self-conscious about my looks, I told my mom I felt ugly and wished I could be as beautiful as her. She only said, "Yeah, I'm pretty, I wonder what happened to you." FML
Today, my grandfather told me that I was ugly. When my mom found out, she said that, "Old people are allowed to tell the truth." FML
Today, during a conversation with my in-laws, I opened up about my insecurities concerning my looks. My mother-in-law responded, "But you're not beautiful." She then repeated it. FML
Today, my mom and I were looking at pictures from the beach. She goes, "That is a REALLY ugly picture of Michelle" (my cousin). The picture was of me. FML
Today, my mom took a picture of me. All she could say about the picture was, "At least your sister is pretty." FML
Today, a 4 year-old saw me and started crying and screaming like heck. I mean, I knew that I didn't look good, but this is too much. FML

Yeah, being drugged up and/or in severe pain will do that. When my Dad told my Mom "Honey, we have two beautiful baby girls" she replied with " Frankly, I don't give a F***"

haha, have you ever seen a newborn baby. my advice to all the pregnant women out there - dont look at your child until they have washed all the goo off.

I agree with #1. That's so creepy. And of course you'd be ugly. You were just born. I mean sure you had nine months to get ready, but you were busy growing fingers and what not.

hahaha, this made me laugh. (: but yes, babies are rather wrinkly and bloody and screaming when they come out. wait a few months when they get cute and plump and peach fuzzy then you can go awwwwwwwwwwwwwwh.

That's creepy. But at least your mother had no delusions that her baby is the only cute one in the world. Infants are hella creepy and ugly. Be glad your mother is honest.
