Today, I woke up at my cousin's house after staying the night. I went into the bathroom like I usually do and shut the door. Apparently the door lock on this bathroom doesn't function properly. I discovered this when my 4-year-old cousin walked in on me putting a tampon in. FML

Boom. Life lesson. If your cousin asks, just tell him/her sometimes you have to just pull some strings to get by.

Oh geez, unless the kid had an eagle eye view directly into her crotch area, probably had no clue what was going on. It's a FOUR year old. More like "welcome to your future life of a parent to a four year old". True story

I've seen my mom putting tampons in several times when I was a child. She told me it was something women did, and that was enough for me.
