Today, I went to the dorm showers to use the facilities. As I was getting in the shower, I slipped and landed face first into a puddle. It wasn't water. FML

Reminds me of a true story. At an (undisclosed) relief mission, the local population would take buckets of water into the portable toilets to bathe, leaving the showers free for people to deficate in, which created a horribly unsanitary environment. A delicately diplomatic Serviceman assembled his camp charges, got on the P.A. & shouted, "What the ****'s going on down here?! Are you tellin' me you people shit in the showers & shower in the shitters?! etc., etc." After a few more minutes of his rantings, someone from the crowd launched a fresh turd up onto the platform & everyone started laughing at this guy as he sulked away in humiliation. The moral? A little piss on the face in a private bath can be washed out & forgotten, (unless you post it on FML!), however, the memory of being publicly bombarded by turds can last a lifetime!
