Today, I went to a fast-food joint and ordered off the $1.00 menu to save money. Five hours later I go to the hospital with food-poisoning. After a whole day of not eating, crapping, puking, having tests, and a bunch of IV fluids, my $1.00 burger ended up costing me $2,000 in bills. Really. FML

This was clearly McDonalds. Who else would have the glorious taste of greese and food poison. The obvious thing to do is to sue.

ouch. well even if you didn't order off the dollar menu, the other food would probably still have food poisoning, dontcha think? SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUE. get yo' money back!

@6, how much is your time worth? I know how to cook, but sometimes I just don't have time to prepare a decent meal and fast food is the cheapest most convenient option. Don't judge someone just because he ordered a cheap burger.

In response to #26 "After a person eats contaminated food, the symptoms of food poisoning typically appear within two to six hours. However, that time frame may be shorter or longer, depending on the amount of bacteria in the food, and the amount eaten." -http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/36252/food_poisoning.html?cat=5

I hope you can sue for that.

wow that sucks now you know to not buy stuff off the 1.00 menu lol im never eating there again

$24,000? I highly doubt it. Lies.

food poisoning normally takes more than 5 hours to effect you. You probably got sick from something you had ate the day before.

It is a double FYL, one for having a very expensive meal and two for having to pay for your healthcare.

It's funny because if you lived in Canada you wouldn't be $24,000 poorer right now. and lol at #26. awesome.
