Today, I was trying to work out, and couldn't even complete an exercise regime meant for 50-year-olds. I'm 24. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Knackered and shattered
Today, I decided to start exercising. I almost passed out five minutes into the warm up, and couldn't even stand in the shower afterwards. I'm only 21. FML
Keeping up
Today, lots of guys my age are confident and in the best shape of their life. I've been working out since high-school. However, since I turned 20, my body has become increasingly injury prone on my joints and tendons from wear and tear. I feel like I'm slowly breaking down and I'm only 24. FML
Today, I was trying to exercise more, so I went for a walk. I was quickly overtaken by a middle-aged lady with cankles, carrying heavy shopping bags in each hand. I'm 19, skinny, and apparently very unfit. FML
Today, I was in a Zumba class with a young woman in her 20s and an older woman in her 80s. I couldn't keep up with either one of them. FML
Today, I went onto the treadmill at my gym. When it prompted me to enter my age I put 27. I'm 29 and am lying about my age to a workout machine. FML
I have no idea what I'm doing
Today, I went to the gym for the first time in months and couldn't figure out how to use any of the equipment. FML
Take it easy
Today, I went to the gym for the first time in months. I was so out of shape that I couldn't even finish my warm-up. FML
Clapped out
Today, I was at the gym when a trainer said, “Wow, good for you! I love seeing older people stay active.” I’m 29. FML
Health is overrated
Today, trying to get into shape because I run out of breath after walking more than 30 minutes, I started to hit the gym. Too bad my legs didn’t want to cooperate and decided that it would cause limping-worthy pain for every step I took on the treadmill. FML
Strength test
Today, I went to the gym. I tried out a new machine where you do one-arm weightlifting. I took my time to get into a good position, then set the machine to the lowest weight possible. I couldn't even lift it an inch. A bunch of buff guys nearby saw me and burst out laughing. FML

The fact that you're even trying to exercise already puts you ahead of most people.

That's because you have to wait until you're 50 in order to do it.

Everybody has to start somewhere! And at least you're trying! Keep it up!

Whenever you think you're trash, remember, it's called a Garbage Can, not a Garbage Cannot. My inspirational comments aren't that great, but shia labeouf didn't really set the bar that high either.

that's ok! just have to let your body get used to working out. that 50 year old has probably been doing it longer. so their body I'd used to it! best of wishes !

I know the feeling. There's a ski jump near the town I live in that I will climb the stairs to...there's 500 and I can't even make it half way without needing to take a break. keep working at it and eventually that work out will be too easy for you!

You're about half that age. So you only have to do half the workout.

Hey it doesn't matter that you can't complete it. All that matters is that you did something. And then next time you go in you'll get a little further, and you repeat until it's easy. The hard part is making yourself get in there every day. I believe in you OP!

Keep up the good work! The fact that your trying is great and a positive attitude will get you through one day at a time.

Tbh that's pretty sad. But it's better than nothing I guess.
