Today, I was quizzing a girl at my college, and I noticed that when she answered a question, her ears wiggled. It was cute, so I pointed it out. She burst into tears, and the guy next to me said, "Way to make her feel insecure, douchebag." FML

Are people really that sensitive?

Tell her you thought it was cute and didn't mean to be a douchebag.

Being bullied earlier in life can lead to self esteem issues later on. Even the littlest thing can make someone feel bad. "Did they mean the compliment or were they dared to say that" goes through my mind a lot.

Wow. What an amazing assumption.

52--how is that an assumption? Whenever I, or any female I know, have feelings other than happiness, it is because I am on my period. You are not the same? Then you must be a witch!

Shit, I would have done the same thing.

All you needed todo was reassure her and tell her you think its cute, she will get over it
