Today, I was pet sitting for a friend. As soon as I walked in the door, I stepped in dog poop. I took off my shoes to clean them, then stepped in cat pee in my socks. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Santa or Satan?
Today, I woke up, put on my fuzzy socks, walked down my hallway, and stepped in cat vomit. I took off my now wet socks, continued walking down the hallway, and stepped barefoot in cat shit. FML
Bad doggy
Today, I came home to find that my dog had taken a dump on my bed. I quickly put on my house shoes to avoid possibly stepping on any other of his turds. I felt something squish all over my right foot. He'd also taken a dump in my house shoe. FML
Today, I stepped in a pile of dog shit. While trying to get it off by wiping my foot on the grass, I stepped in another pile. FML
Today, I stepped in dog shit, barefoot, in my own bathroom. The dog had been outside for two hours earlier, and I'd watched him take a dump. Apparently he was saving some for when he got back in the house. FML
Today, I got up at 5am, brushed my teeth, shaved and showered to get ready for work only to step barefoot in a huge pile of dog crap in the middle of my living room floor. I don't own a dog. FML
Today, my morning started off by stepping in my dog's piss by the door. Then, stepping in my husband's piss by the toilet. FML
Classic cat prank
Today, I was walking down the hallway when I stepped in an ice cold pile of cat vomit. I was barefoot. FML
Today, I discovered that my cat recently had explosive diarrhea, and couldn't make it to the litterbox in time. I discovered this when I stepped in the very, very fresh poop with my bare feet. FML
My reward
Today, I felt accomplished after I cleaned the whole house alone, but then I stepped backwards to admire my work and stepped into a pile of dog poop. FML
Minefield
Today, my cat pissed on my bed, so I had to change the sheets. Just as I got out of bed and take my first step, I stepped in my cat's poop as well and slipped, spraining my ankle. FML

I feel like this was an contest between cat and dog to see who can make the human suffer worse.

Cool concept for a Home Alone spinoff movie, Pet Alone. Guess what, you're Joe Pesci.

That's a really shitty situation. Hopefully you weren't too pissed off.

I once petsat for a dog that was not house trained at ALL. I spent six hours outside with him, and he STILL shat all over the floor. Some people just don't properly train their pets.

You have no spatial awareness do you? Do you also get startled/surprised by someone standing right next to you that you didn't notice for a second and then turn around to walk towards them?

I don’t think you’re a very good pet sitter

Last time I petsat, I actually felt a little bad because I was getting $40 just for checking on the neighbours pets every 3-4 hours and letting them out for a few minutes. That feeling evaporated on my first check-in, where I was met with dog diarrhea all over the living room carpet. And again at my evening check-in, with cat puke all over the kitchen. The next day I brought a book over and made SURE he had PLENTY of time to use the bathroom. I spent 6 hours outside with him, and the little shit STILL shat all over the floor. I gave up at that point. But damn if I didn't earn that $40. The next time my mom looked after him, she just decided '**** it' and blocked off all entrances to carpeted areas. If he's gonna shit on the floor, he can shit on the linoleum.
