Today, I texted everyone in my phone to remind them mother's day is tomorrow. Everyone including the boy whose mom died last year. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was texting a friend of mine. She mentioned it was her dad's birthday. I typed, "Tell him 'Happy Birthday' from me!" and as I pressed send, I remembered her dad was dead. FML
It's the thought that counts, right?
Today, I was once again sent tons of Mother's Day cards in the mail, even though my son died years ago and I've told people that I'm not a mother anymore. FML
No thanks
Today, it was Mother’s Day. My mom died when I was young, so I deleted all of my social media, to avoiding seeing all my friends hanging out with their aging, but healthy, loving mothers. Then my dad decided to remind me what day it was and to wish my abusive stepmom a happy Mother’s Day. FML
Today, I texted a friend offering my condolences over the death of his grandfather. He hadn't been told his grandfather had died yet. FML
Good grief
Today, my mom wished her best friend a Happy Birthday on Facebook. Her best friend died this year. Oh, did I mention that it’s also my birthday? FML
Today, I've been so stressed out that I forgot my own birthday. I only remembered when my mom talked to me to let me know she wasn't planning on doing anything for it. FML
Classic Mom
Today, I got a text from my mom shaming me for forgetting my sister's birthday. It isn't her birthday today, it's mine. FML
Today, I finally taught my mom how to text message people. Now I get a message from her every 30 seconds saying "Hi". FML
Today, my mother-in-law texted to wish me a happy birthday. She spelled my name wrong and it's not my birthday. FML
Happy Birthday baby!
Today, it's my birthday. My parents wished me a happy one via text message. We live in the same house. FML

Why did you text everyone? I would be annoyed if I got that as a text. By the way, no one cares you were first, #1. So STFU.

Why the hell would you text everyone in your phone to remind them that Mother's Day is tomorrow?

Yeah, greensharpie was totally okay with their comment. So many commenters say "first!" when they get the first post. It's kind of a fun tradition for some people here. Others get mad and say rude things just because they're jerks. keith444, isn't it past your bedtime?

Depending on what your text said I don't know if that is actually too bad. If it was something like "DONT FORGET ITS MOTHERS DAY TOMORROW!!" then yeah, I can see that being a little...insensitive. But if it was an ok text that wasnt too in your face, I think he probably would've just thought about his mum.

um YDI. I'm pretty sure you'd have to be a complete dumbass or cut off from the outside world or something to not at least have any idea that tomorrow is Mother's Day. It's advertised everywhere, people talk about it, oh, and IT'S ON EVERY CALENDAR! Texts like that are annoying. Stop. The only reason you should be reminding all your friends about Mother's Day is if you KNEW they all simultaneously completely forgot about it.

If you just sent a reminder out, that's fine. I mean heck, it's a good reminder if he hasn't been going to her grave for a visit.
