Today, I spent thirty minutes on the phone with my best friend's mom, because her daughter was too afraid to tell me that I'm no longer a bridesmaid at her wedding because I'm too fat. FML

Today, I proudly showed off my new body, after losing 80 pounds. My life-long best friend immediately uninvited me to her upcoming wedding, and won't explain why. FML
Today, my sister told me she didn’t want me in her wedding pictures because I looked fat in my bridesmaid's dress. FML
Today, whilst trying on wedding dresses with my mom, she told me that I looked fat and awful in the dress I liked. When I told her how hurtful she was being, she told me that I should be grateful that she told me what she thought instead of laughing at me behind my back. FML
Today, my fiancée called off our wedding at the last moment, because her neurotic sister thinks she's "too fat" to be the maid of honor, and says she needs several months to lose weight. So that's a few thousand dollars wasted. My fiancée says I'm "overreacting" and that I "just don't get it". FML
Today, my best friend of over 16 years is getting married. I was supposed to be her Maid of Honor. Instead I was uninvited a few weeks ago. FML
Today, my bestie had me kicked out of her wedding the day of. All because I altered my bridesmaid's dress without telling her. She knows I hate fabric against my legs. FML
Today, I admitted to my best friend that I was having second thoughts about getting married and was probably going to break up with him. Unfortunately, my fiance's daughter, who I absolutely adore, overheard the conversation and threw a huge screaming tantrum asking why I didn't want to be her mommy anymore. FML
Today, my best friend announced she was getting married. I've always wanted to be a bridesmaid but she then added, "You can't be in the bridal party because you don't have the same body type as the other bridesmaids. But you can still come to the bachelorette party!" FML
Today, my best friend told me that I wasn't invited to her wedding, saying that I was too pretty and that I would outshine her at the ceremony. I laughed and said that she was being ridiculous. She eventually confessed the real reason why I wasn't invited: apparently I'm an annoying bitch. FML
Today, I’m supposed to be a bridesmaid at my sister's wedding, but she doesn’t want me in the photos because I’m over a foot taller than her and the other bridesmaids, and it will look silly in the photos. I told her I won’t even bother attending, and mom actually took her side. FML

Definitely sucks that your (hopefully ex) friend didn't have the chutzpah to tell you herself. P.S. Nothing wrong with wearing a shirt at the pool. My BFF & I wear them & it has nothing to do with size or body image, it's just we don't want to get burnt to a crisp or have to put 10 gallons of sunscreen on every hour.

idk, two of my three bridesmaids were a little overweight, didn't make my wedding any less perfect. If you have everyone there that loves and supports you, then it's perfect. If you care more about the fat girl who will be in your wedding photos then you're shallow and probably didn't care enough about OP. If OP was her best friend, then her weight shouldn't be what's important; having your best friend for a bridesmaid should be more important than what your best friend looks like.

This happened to me when I was pregnant. My best friend told me I wouldn't match the other 2 (stick thin) bridesmaids so couldn't be a bridesmaid anymore. I would only be 5 months gone when the wedding came around - bitch

I think there could be another side to this. If she's really your best friend that is. Is it because you weren't feeling comfortable or maybe that you wouldn't be comfortable in a chosen dress (noticed the shirt in a pool thing). I used to be like that so that's why I'm asking. If not I'm really sorry op that's a shitty situation. Hope it can be resolved.
