Today, I shouldn't have told my boss that I was interested in management. She now throws any problem she doesn't want to solve at me and either gets mad when I can't work it out or takes credit when I do. FML

Time to get her to work for her money and position. If you can afford it, quit and tell her off about it. It's not fair that just because you're interested in management she treats you like this. At least that's what I would do if I was born with brass balls..

welcome to "middle management" unless you are the lead dog the view never changes. lol

sounds a bit like Steve Jobs

'Interested.'

Does your boss happen to have pointy hair?

Hey Maybe In Time You Will Take Her Place Down The Road When She Retires...Hope That's Not Too Far Down The Line Though...Keep Pressing On OP

Welcome to the world of management. She could very possibly be training you for the mental strains that come with being in management ahead of time to see if you'll work out or not. That doesn't make it any more fair or any easier to deal with, but it's one of the downsides to being a manager/supervisor.

You should report her to your HR manager cuz that's really unfair

Welcome to the wonderful world of management.
