Today, I received a phone call from a cruise line I had travelled on with my parents a year ago. After being told I had won a free $2,000 cruise from a sweepstakes I'd entered while on the cruise. After celebrating loudly they informed me that you have to be 23 or older to collect it. I'm 17. FML

Can someone else collect it for you?

Well how'd you enter in the first place?....this is very suspicious!! If it is true then your parents should be able to collect it for you, maybe.

yeah, have your parents or another older relative or friend collect it for you. no biggie

oh man that sucks!!! but how were you able to enter in the first place? unless it was a disney cruise, you have to be 18 to enter almost all sweepstakes and many of them are 21 too... why 23? that's a random age restriction...

Age discrimination is a crime against humanity.

i kno how u feel same thing happened to me

Wow 23? America has the worst age limits ever. In Canada, it's 18

Why not just get your parents to answer it??? You could have said you thought it was for you when it was actually foe your mom... then take the money afterwards

#72: technically, Canada is in America too. I really wish everyone would stop calling the u.s. "America" because unlike Australia, it's not a whole continent

America is short for United states of AMERICA. However, Canada is also in NORTH america. Clearing things up :P

Learn your grammar. You're horribly incorrect.
