Today, I ordered more memory and a new hard drive for my computer. I can't remember the last time I was this excited about something. FML

Today, I finally received my new computer in the mail. I was so excited, I kissed the box. The truck driver definitely noticed. FML
Today, I was expecting new computer parts so I can upgrade my hardware. I was hoping they would get here before I had to leave for work, but they showed up half an hour after my shift started. Now I have $700 worth of computer hardware sitting on my porch for my whole shift. FML
Today, my parents got me a new computer for my birthday. They also took the liberty of throwing out my old computer, with 8 years of photos, videos, music, documents, emails, and bookmarks on it. But that's okay, I had a backup. They threw that out too. FML
Today, the most exciting notification I received was Amazon telling me that my bulk order of toilet paper had been shipped. FML
Today, I worked a short shift at work, getting sent home early because it was slow. In the time I was gone, my family decided surprise me by rearranging my room and put in my new desk. They also surprised me when I learned that they'd spilled a slushie on my very expensive computer. FML
Today, I realized that I give the computer screen a thumbs up whenever I see something cool. I work on computers in front of people all day. FML
Today, I set out to organize my media files over several old hard drives, but I got so engrossed in creating intricate folders and subfolders that I forgot what I was organizing in the first place. My computer is now a labyrinth of folders titled "Stuff," "Things," and "What is this even?" FML
Today, I got so bored that I ordered my DVD drawer from awesomest to non-awesomest. I need a life. FML
Today, my computer crashed and lost all of its data while I was making a back up. FML
Today, I was so bored at my job as a receptionist that I actually got excited when the phone rang. FML

I think it's worse that nobody made the connection and a pun about him needing computer memory and also not being able to remember. It's obvious that OP is the metaphorical computer.

people who post fmls about how they cant remember when they last were excited, or that they havent had sex in a while, or havent talked to girls in awhile...have no lives. YDI..if you are unhappy about something like this in your life get up off your butt and do something about it duhh

OP probably doesn't mind that he gets excited about it, he just realizes how pathetic it would seem to most people. And you can't just go out and have sex. I'm not going to explain why, because if you can't figure that out for yourself you should be more self-conscious, outwardly critical.

Man, computer upgrades are exciting, especially if you play graphic-intensive games. I love upgrades. But... there are plenty of things that excite me more. Loser!
