Today, I'm facing a disciplinary hearing at work because I occasionally fail to click the door properly shut when I leave the office and this is very upsetting to one of the six colleagues I share my office with. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I arrived at work and was immediately given a disciplinary write-up for being two hours late for my shift. Apparently the manager had changed my schedule that morning and failed to tell me. FML
Today, I nearly got written up for "publicly humiliating" a coworker. All because I left a note in the restroom asking whoever keeps peeing all over the floor to please be considerate of other people. FML
Broadcast
Today, I had to call a coworker to the office via the store intercom. The damn thing didn't turn off properly and everyone heard me say, "I hate that asshole. Just be where your dumb ass should be." I realized my mistake a few seconds before my manager stormed in and threatened to fire me. FML
Grind mindset
Today, someone I work with embarrassed me in front of everyone in my job; because I wasn’t doing something the way she liked during our meeting this morning. I ended up crying in front of my boss. FML
How could you?
Today, I got told off at work for not saying hello to someone in the corridor.. FML
Today, I was carrying a stack of paperwork at work, when my pen rolled off and onto the floor. As soon as I bent down to pick it up, a nearby co-worker, who's always hated me, accused me of putting on a show and sexually harassing him. He actually followed up by reporting me to HR. FML
Today, my boss yelled at me for leaving on time. After months of management hounding us about our overtime, I get in trouble for doing what I was supposed to do. FML
Today, I got locked inside my office again by my co-workers because they had forgotten I was still around when they left. This happens 1 or 2 times a week. FML
Today, I got written up at work for clocking back in from lunch early. Yesterday I got a verbal warning for coming back late. I'm scared to go to lunch at all now. FML
Help, I'm stranded!
Today, at work, it was so windy that it started taking the door off its hinges. The door now won't close all the way. I can't leave until someone comes to fix it. FML

So does your coworker have OCD? Or is that door supposed to remain locked for security reasons, or latched tight to keep the room sound proof during meetings/conferences (or just to block out a noisy reception area so people can concentrate)? If you no one even mentioned it to you before now and you're suddenly getting disciplined for it, definitely FYL. But if you've been asked everyday to keep it shut for a reason and you keep forgetting anyway, well... maybe YDI.

Letting the cool/warm air in. Or letting extra noise in. You're being a jerk, basically. It's not hard to close a door.

Someone's not facing this kind of thing with a sense of poison rationality.

I like 'poison rationality' better.

That doesn't make it correct.

I like having a million dollars more than my current financial number.

By this logic I guess you've achieved it. Congratulations!

Are you in one of those shops with work rules that every complaint requires some drawn-out hearing procedure? If I submitted a complaint like that I'd get laughed at.

Most jobs I've had, if I made a complaint like that, the boss would tell me to f*** off down to the unemployment office. . . UNLESS someone was leaving a door open that needs to be locked, because then THEY could head to Unemplyment. . .

Sounds like a murder mystery to me. You find out who the ratfink is, and then murder them.

When they fire you, be sure to leave the door open.

Your colleague's property is in there. Assuming this door locks shut when you leave, they have a right to be upset you're leaving the door unlocked because that leaves their stuff vulnerable.

I leave my laptop in my office. If my colleague doesn't shut our door when he/she leaves I'd be upset. It'd be too late to be upset when it gets stolen
