Today, I learned the hisses of my 3 cats so I can tell who starts the fights. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Happy Caturday
Today, my cats started fighting again. Normally, I let them, because it's the only exercise they get. But this time one of my cats sliced the other's nose, and he responded by pinning her and nearly choking her to death. When I ran in to stop them, they teamed up against me. Ah, somethin' don't feel too good… FML
The Lovecats
Today, my two cats, who I'm slowly easing into being together, seem to like the fight they had yesterday. My older cat goes to my new cat's room to mew until I open the door, then lunges at my new cat, and my new cat goes to the barrier until he sees my old cat, and they start their shenanigans again. FML
The cliché
Today, I realised that I can tell my 6 cats apart by the sound of their paws on the carpet. I think I need friends. FML
Caturday surprise
Today, there are two cats in my basement that won't stop fighting. Loudly. I'm trying to sleep, if you don't mind. FML
Work together!
Today, our cats got in a serious fight about the rights to some prime mousing territory. The territory in question? Our kitchen. FML
Jackson Galaxy moment
Today, I meowed at my cat and he got really close to me. I then meowed again and he punched me in the face. Them's fightin' words, it seems. FML
Happy Fourth of July
Today, I tried to comfort my cats from fireworks. Problem is, I also have really sensitive hearing, so fireworks are distressing to me as well. My cats didn't take kindly to me being distressed and just became more irritable. They took their irritability out on me. Now I look like I fought a bear or something. FML
Today, I found out that both of my cats are afraid of mice. So far I've seen them run and hide from 3 different mice who've recently invaded my apartment. FML
Also great baby name suggestions
Today, my boyfriend has trained my three cats to respond to "Fart Cat", "Little Shit", and "Lumpy Butt" as well as their actual names. I'd be less annoyed if all three didn't adore him and sit on his lap every day. FML
Cat fight
Today, we got a new kitten, and my older cat is not happy. I just learned that my fiance doesn't interfere when they fight. He says watching my old fat cat chase the kitten is the funniest thing he's seen all month. FML

I think you mean, "you're one of them meow."

Are they actual fights? Where they need to be separated? Or just mindless play/disputes all animals have?

You are aware 13, that you can send him a private message, right?

hiss back to show dominance, OP.
YumeWolf 23
You know what, that is actually pretty smart and useful.

It's good to know whose hiss is whose, but the first cat heard hissing is not necessarily the instigator, just like the first kid to make a noise in a playground fight is not necessarily the one who started it.

To learn cat, one must first become a cat.

Almost as impressive as that fml in which the op could tell which cat is who by their footsteps

Oh I can tell Abby by her footsteps. She's tiny but she stomps.

It's actually usually easier to learn to tell footsteps apart if your cats are at all distinctive in that sense -- cats walk and jump all the time, but hopefully they're not hissing anywhere near that often. One of ours is light on her feet and graceful; the other one apparently skipped feline grace training (probably in favor of extra mealtimes).

How often do your cats have to fight each other for you start recognizing their hisses?

My roommates and Is cats have lived together for 5-6 years. They still don't get along and she growls and hisses at my cat if he even looks at her on a daily.

Well, now that you have learnt cat, the next stage in becoming Dr. Doolittle is eating with them and ******** in the same cat litter tray. Works for me :p
