Today, I handed in the answer sheet an hour into a 3-hour long exam because I couldn't answer most of the questions. Now, everyone thinks I'm genius because I "finished" quickly and they want me to tutor them. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Classic rookie mistake
Today, I was taking a test and thought I was doing great until I realized I was writing all my answers on the question paper, not the answer sheet. By the time I noticed, there were only five minutes left. FML
Unfair failing
Today, while I was taking a test in class, there was a question that had everyone stumped. After what seemed like forever, the teacher finally noticed and said he'd typed the question wrong. I spent more than half the time I had to complete the test on a question that wasn't even written correctly. Yes, I failed. FML
Pencils down
Today, I took an exam, for which I have been studying for weeks, I was confident at first, but then really struggled with it. I finished with about ten minutes to spare, turned to what I thought would be the end of my paper and found the first page of questions I was supposed to have answered. FML
Today, my math TA showed the class how one of her "dumb" students answered a test question. Everyone laughed as she wrote out the students answer, including myself, until I looked down at my answer sheet and saw that I submitted an identical answer. FML
Today, we were taking a bio quiz and I understood the subject, so the people sitting behind me asked me to help them out. Being a kind fellow classmate, I did. When the teacher got suspicious, she asked the class, "How are all of you getting the same answers?" everyone pointed directly at me. FML
Today, I turned in my homework. Too bad I accidentally handed in the printed answer sheet I found online to copy from. FML
Today, I took a final for my law class. As I was taking the test, I noticed the girl on my left copying off me. I wrote all the wrong answers on my sheet while writing the correct answers on my desk hoping she would copy the wrong answers down. I forgot to write the correct answers on my test. FML
Nice try
Today, I cheated on a math test by writing a couple of equations on my hand. Totally satisfied, I handed my test in, feeling like I had aced it. As I was heading toward the door, I happily waved goodbye to my teacher. She saw everything. FML
Today, I got my results on a recent, important midterm. During the exam, I'd noticed my instructor had accidentally left an answers page in the test packet, so being honest, I didn't look at them. It turns out she did it on purpose to help us pass. I failed. FML
Today, I took my last final on a Scantron sheet with 200 multiple choice questions, with seconds to spare. When I finished the last question, I saw I had another bubble to fill in and I didn't know where I screwed up. FML

By saying no

If you tell them the truth that'll be embarrassing and if you tell them no then they'll think you're an asshole. kind of a loose loose situation here

At least it isn't a tight, tight situation. That could be even more awkward.

YDI because you gave up without even bothering to try. Don't get all emotional when you see your mark.

Why would they think that? Where I'm from if you're one of the first to leave an exam you're probably getting one of the lowest scores. The last people to leave usually do the best.

Well, where I live that's sometimes the case and sometimes not. If you know most of the material inside and out, you can usually finish before most others in a class. I finished a history test (not a big exam) in 30 minutes the other day because i knew most of the material, and i was the 3rd to leave. On the other hand, people do just BS their way through exams and then leave because they don't know the answers. So I guess it can go both ways. :)

It can really depend on the kind of test and the materials. If it's all short answers or multiple choice, doesn't require math, and you know all the answers, you can finish in a snap. If it involves lengthy calculations, it's harder to zip through quickly and be sure of doing well. If it's an essay test, those who finish first are less likely to be getting the top grades.

Play the bluff game.. They might teach you something lol.. Common interrogation technique :)

If "finishing" quickly made you a genius, the world would be way more advanced!! Right ladies!?!? Ladies??.... Ok.....

I used to get done with my exams super fast but didn't want to turn in right away. I just didn't want to turn it in first.
