Today, I had to explain to one of my high school students that the importance of Pearl Harbor was not, in fact, because the Japanese stole the US pearl supply. FML

Some people are just stupid. We had like 3 kids in my class who didn't know New York was actually a state, they thought it was only a city. I'm pretty sure the average intelligence level is getting lower and lower.
