Today, I had so much to do, I didn't know where to start. So I didn't. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Procrastination
Today, I got up early because I had a bunch of work to do. It's now 11:50 p.m and I still haven't managed to get anything done. FML
Another great day to be alive
Today, I didn’t get much done because I woke up late and therefore didn’t have much time. No wait, that was yesterday. Today I didn’t get much done because I woke up EARLY and was miserably tired and good for nothing all day. FML
Naps are important
Today, I realised just how badly I procrastinate because I wanted to take a nap before going out for a friend's birthday, but I kept putting it off until I simply didn't have the time. FML
Productive
Today, in an effort to actually be productive for once, I decided to clean out my closet. However, I ended up getting distracted by old photos, started crying over past relationships and dead pets, and didn't end up getting anything done whatsoever. FML
Procrastination
Today, I prepared a detailed plan to organise my life, colour-coded and beautifully illustrated. I was so engrossed in designing the perfect plan that I forgot to actually do any of it and ended up with a highly organised non-starter. FML
Today, I did my work, the work of my co-worker who called in sick and the work of my boss who has no idea what the hell is going on all at the same time. I didn't get a promotion because I don't work hard enough. FML
Teamwork works
Today, I had a huge amount of work to get through. Two colleagues offered to help, because one had nothing else to do, and the other couldn't work until I was done. My boss got really pissed at me for "making" them do my job and wasting their time. FML
Perfect timing
Today, I woke up late, didn't shave, didn't have time to iron my clothes, didn't eat breakfast, and ran into the office with beads of sweat running down my face. The meeting had been cancelled. FML
Today, I have a busy week scheduled at work, so I took my file home to smash out some reports. Naturally I did not do any work at home and then I also forgot to take the file back to work the next day. Instead of saving time, I wasted an hour driving home to collect it. FML
Today, I procrastinated on doing my on-line training for my new job. Thinking it would only take a few hours to complete, I started it in the early evening. It is now almost 4 am, and I start my new job in 3 hours. There is still about another hour and a half on on-line training left. FML

Supposedly procrastination is about fear. Maybe if you work out what's bothering you about the tasks you need to do you can break them down and get started?

But wouldn't that just be another excuse not to do your work? You go on thinking about what's bothering you and by the time your done you get a fake sense of accomplishment and the leave the rest for tomorrow... At least that's what I do.

26 is talking about getting to the root of the problem. it may seem like a waste of time at first, but long term, it would probably pay off

Yes I see what you guys mean, I'm not trying to argue with that. I just mean that it's going to take a lot of will power for procrastinators to go beyond thinking it through and actually doing something about it afterwards.

Oh absolutely XD I'm a prime example myself. I procrastinate by researching procrastinating... but hey, it is what the experts say. *shrug*

What?

Don't worry. Most of what you need to do is unimportant and irrelevant. For the few things that really matter, people will yell at you to do them when they need them. That's a good system to prioritize your to-do list.
