Today, I had an interview for my dream job. I spent all of last night preparing, researching the company, and making sure everything was perfect. My interview was for 8am. I woke up at 10:30 to an alarm that had not gone off. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Great first impression
Today, I woke up early for a job interview. I got lost and arrived an hour late, only to find out it was the wrong day. FML
Late late late
Today, after going to bed at a decent time last night so I could get up early, I overslept. Not only that, I thought today was the day of my job interview, so I rushed to get ready and go. As I parked in the parking lot, I realized today was the day before said interview. FML
Time is money
Today, I had a job interview that I had spent hours preparing for it. When I arrived, the interviewer told me the position had been filled already and they forgot to notify me. I wasted a whole fucking day for nothing. FML
Today, I woke up at 11:11am. I was happy because I thought it was a sign that it was going to be a good day. I then realized that I was over an hour late for a job interview. FML
Recruitement hell
Today, I went to a job interview. The person giving me my interview was late, and while waiting for them I fell asleep. When they arrived, they didn't even bother interviewing me because they thought I was irresponsible since I fell asleep because they were late. FML
Overprepared
Today, it's been three days since I started preparing for a video interview, including practicing my answers and arranging the background behind me. Five minutes before it started, I noticed I'd been preparing for the wrong time zone. I was sitting in a perfect interview setup three hours too early. FML
Bad start
Today, I was starting a new job that requires me to wake up at 4 am. I set three alarms but was so nervous about sleeping through them that I kept waking up to check the time, which caused me to miss my alarms. Goodbye awesome new job. FML
Almost there
Today, I took a very expensive flight to New York City for a job interview. I waited in my hotel room all day for the phone call to go to my once in a lifetime interview. By noon, I was nervous; eight, I was pissed. Around ten, I realized my phone was still in airplane mode. FML
Today, I had a job interview at 9:00am. I left at around 8:30am, and as soon as I got in the car to drive to the interview, I checked my phone again, and it said 10:33. My boyfriend had decided to change the time on my clock as a "joke." FML
Today, I decided to take a nap before a big job interview at 6. I set two alarm clocks to make sure I didn't miss it, but I woke up at 5:59. As I'm scrambling in a panic to get out the door, my mom says calmly, "I took your alarm clocks out of your room because you looked really tired today." FML

Always set multiple alarms. When it's something this important, you don't leave anything to chance.

Sounds like you have a pretty alarming problem.

That has TOTALLY happened to me. More than once. I use my phone as my alarm so once my phone died, then I was so tired i had the timer on PM instead of AM (that happens alot cuz i work nights). Don't let it get to you though, you're not alone and seriously shit happens.

What you could have done is condition yourself to wake up at a certain time so u dont miss the deadline
