Today, I failed a final presentation. My partner, who did none of the research, presented the entire project, talking over me and glaring when I spoke up. He denied everything and the professor didn't believe me. Now I have to retake this class with the same professor. FML
Today, after attending lectures for months, studying for weeks, and spending hours writing a 15-page research paper, I was informed that due to technological issues during registration, I was not enrolled in the class. FML
Today, I found out that I chose a wrong class and my 30-page paper worth 10 credit points that I wrote for that class is basically worthless now, and my graduation might be postponed another semester just because of that. FML
Today, I finished a 6-part project. It took me 7 hours of straight work because my partner decided I should do it alone. I then learned that the reason my partner did not help me was because the teacher e-mailed the leader of every group, saying the project was cancelled. FML
Today, I found out that my ten-page paper, which has taken me two months to construct perfectly and is worth 30% of my grade, was on the wrong book. It’s due tomorrow. FML
Today, after I'd being sick all day, my boyfriend volunteered to do my very long sociology paper. I was later notified by my professor that the paper I'd submitted was completely plagiarized. FML
Today, I went to my first class of the semester. After an hour of intense note writing, I realized I was in the wrong class. FML
Today, I met up with my group for class. We were doing some final checks on the project we've been working on all semester, when I realized something about one guy's work seemed off. I googled it and found out it's almost completely plagiarized. It's all due in the morning. FML
Today, one of my classmates got bullied and the whole class got to wrote 2000 words about that. FML
Today, my research partner emails me 2 hours before our deadline saying that she can't complete her half of our 20 page report because when she woke up this morning she couldn't see. How did she write the email? FML

Show the tutor the text. I did have a 'fun' group project in secondary school. 5 of us. The other four slacked off. I decided to also slack off, because, bugger all this for a lark, I wasn't doing their work for them. They then scapegoated me for not doing the work. Teacher then asked them why they didn't pick up the slack. I explained that I did nothing as a protest. Whilst I got no mark, they got in deep shit.

OP that's really lame that your partner did that, but at least you didn't have number 15 as a partner. They obviously have no priorities in life since they think education is a waste of time; so in comparison your partner is still smarter than this idiot. Go have a quiet personal talk with the teacher. Then ask to set up a meeting with the teacher, your partner and yourself so that you can discuss your partner's lack of commitment to the project and lack of respect for your and your teacher's time; that way the teacher should be able to decipher how to handle the jerk and you maintain your professionalism.

Hopefully it isn't something that's a joint mark. However you should explain to your teacher asap that you've pulled your weight and if you have to show that text as proof. However, surely, you should've had to share data and drafts and stuff so that your paper actually flowed and didn't unnecessarily repeat itself, so did you not get any hints that they might not be doing any work, or did you not bother working together on a joint project?

Well yes, I understand that. But my point was that they should probably have at least talked about it on more than one occasion. If not to just check they were on the same wavelength with what needed doing by the other person and whether or not they needed extra help to get their bit done. It's common sense to keep an eye on what the other person's doing, it doesn't take a lot of time to take a few minutes to discuss how it's going.
