Today, I got a text from my crush. In my clumsy attempt to quickly grab the phone, I knocked it off the kitchen counter and cracked the screen. After driving to my friend's house so I could put my sim card in her phone, I saw that the text said, "Who is this? Stop texting me." FML

Today, I got my crush's phone number. I started texting him and once I told him who it was, he stopped replying. FML
Today, I somehow managed to FaceTime my crush instead of texting him. I panicked, dropped my phone, then answered the call with an unflattering close-up of my forehead. FML
Today, I wrote a text to the guy I've had a crush on for two years. I typed "hey" and put my phone down, not ready to send it. A little while later, I heard it buzz. The reply said "Um... what?" Apparently my sister had added "I'm a shitty prostitute" to my text and sent it. FML
Today, I sent a risky text to my crush and immediately put my phone on airplane mode so I wouldn’t spend the next hour anticipating and responding to his reply. I forgot I did this and spent the whole day thinking he was ignoring me, but when I switched it back on, I'd not received a single message. FML
Today, I left my phone on the roof of my car after pumping gas. I drove off, and it wasn't until I heard a thud that I realized what had happened. Now my phone has a gash in the screen, and it's receiving angry texts from my girlfriend that I can't answer. FML
Today, I was standing next to the girl I like while she was looking at her phone. She dropped it and I tried to save it by catching it with my foot. I ended up kicking it across the room, cracking the screen. FML
Today, I wrecked my car because my mom texted me, telling me not to text and drive. FML
Today, I went to visit my Grandmother, accidentally leaving my phone home during the weekend. When I got back I had 2 texts from my crush. One saying "I want to take the most beautiful girl to prom, go with me?" and the other saying, "Fine fattie, I'll ask someone else." FML
Today, I finally got the guts to text this cute girl at school. I started sending flirtatious texts, only to find out the hard way that she'd given me her boyfriend's number. FML
Today, I used a prank app, where you shake the cell, and it makes the screen looks cracked. I ended up losing my grip on the phone. It went flying, and it is now cracked for real. FML

You texted him without ever telling him who you were or giving him your phone number. He didn't text back for a while but it seems you kept texting him anyway. ummm if you're old enough to drive shouldn't you be old enough to not act like a creepy stalker and text a guy who you clearly don't know well without so much as revealing who you are seemingly repeatedly?

I think it's really dangerous to so casually throw away terms like "stalker". That has a specific legal definition, and it's not sending maybe one too many texts to a boy she likes who obviously forgot whose number hers is. There needs to be a difference between normal, unfortunately awkward situations, and ACTUAL stalking; it's a serious accusation.

I don't think "creeper" is the same thing as "stalker"... Like you can creep someone's facebook page or whatever, but I don't think it counts as stalking. I mean, stalking is following them home, getting their personal info., generally just harassing that person 24/7...

With ATT at least, a SIM card has limited storage for about 20 text messages, after that's filled up, they start getting stored on the phone.

Well maybe the guy knows her up close but not her number...you dont know if she told the guy who it was texting him before he sent that text or not. Aww hun I'm sorry that happened to you but its not really FML because there are a million other guys out there and you can find another crush. Did you even tell him who it was texting him so that he'd know? Maybe if you had then he would of been different towards you
