Today, I found out that I was not adopted and in fact my parents are my biological parents. How did I find out? Over dinner. How long have I been believing I was adopted? 22 years. Why did I start believing I was adopted? My siblings thought it would be a funny joke. My mom played along. FML

Similar thing happened to my little brother. He's considerable tanner than the rest of the family so my sister and I always told him that there was a mix-up at the hospital and our "real brother" got switched with a Mexican family. We never thought much of it until he got to second grade and did a heritage project in which he told his teacher he was from Mexico. Parents got a call from the school and weren't too pleased with my sister and I. :)
