Today, I finally got the wedding dress I've been waiting months to see. It turns out that my mom ordered the dress 2 sizes smaller than my size, this way it will be "an incentive to lose weight". FML

Today, I received the beautiful dress I'd ordered on the internet. It's a size smaller than my usual, just to encourage me to lose weight. I managed to fit into it and wear it all day, but I've now been struggling for a couple of hours to remove it without tearing it to bits. FML
Today, after months of dieting, I finally reached my goal weight. Excitedly I told my boyfriend, who gave me a beautiful dress as an early Christmas present. It was a size too small. FML
Today, I was wedding dress shopping. My fiance is only paying for the dress if I buy a size 10 or under. I’m currently a size 18. Apparently, this will give me “incentive to get in shape for the wedding.” FML
Today, I finally gave my mum an expensive designer dress I spent months saving to buy for her as she had been very depressed. However she has gained so much weight from stress eating she ripped it when trying to put it on, and now won't talk to me because, "I wanted to make her feel fat". FML
Today, I finally lost enough weight to fit into the beautiful dress that I ordered for my senior prom. I graduated from high school in 2010. FML
Today, I bought my fiancée a dress for her birthday. She accused me of saying she was fat, because I bought it in medium rather than small. After trying on the dress, she's now not only mad at me for buying it, but also because the dress fits perfectly. FML
Today, I went in to pick my wedding dress. My fiancé's ex-girlfriend was my consultant. She basically hinted that I looked fat in every dress. FML
Today, I was shopping for dresses when my fiancé turned into what I can only call a groomzilla. He told me and my maid of honor that we need to lose weight because he's not "paying all this money for a pair of fatties to not look good." FML
Today, after saving up for a beautiful new dress to wear to my partner's 30th birthday party, it finally arrived in the post. I tried the dress on and the stitching instantly ripped, leaving two big holes in it. Turns out I'm no longer a size 8. FML
Today, after losing 20 pounds, I decided to purchase new clothes. All of the clothes at the store were still too small for me. FML

Is she a larger women? If she is then you should hide her twinkies so she can also look good at your wedding. if she is skinny then you should start mKing her smoothies with mayonnaise in it, fatten her up a bit and start calling her miss piggy.

Corsetry. You can easily hide two dress sizes and that unsightly side blubber at the same time. It may not be comfortable for op, but with a little weight loss and a good corset she'll be fine, it's a time honored tradition.

You can take about 4inches of your waist with a corset but if she has boobs and hips to match it won't help at all..

not true, there are bras you can get to flatten you out intended for if you're too big-boobed to fit into say a button down shirt or tight top, and you can get control pants (i know theyre old-people-y but they work) to pull in your bum and hips.

Apart from the whole "what if she already IS a size 4, not 20 or whatever...", You have think of bone structure. It's not the whole "I'm big boned" but more like chest and pelvis size. My body can fit into small clothes [not sure what that would be in American sizes] but I have to go usually a size up [depends on brand] to fit my hips and shoulders. I'm not fat, you can quite easily see my bones [not in an anorexic way] but does that make me fat because I might be in a larger size? No. Besides, Ordering someone's wedding dress two sizes too small is cruel, hurtful and could ruin a wedding, relationship and cost a lot of money to correct. This is how people get eating disorders, from people trying to "Fix" other people when there are no health issues present or nearby with the weight they are at.
