Today, I called Costco to ask them not to renew my membership because of financial problems. The man on the phone spent 30 minutes telling me why I'm a fool to leave and I ended up with a renewed $55 membership and 25 minutes over my minute allowance. FML

Seems that maybe the root of your financial issues is that you can't say "no" to people. You're probably a wet dream for telemarketers, OP.

There's this cool little word, maybe you've heard of it. It's called "no", and it gets you out of stuff. YDI.

OP, if you're going to continue using the phone, you should learn when to hang up. as it is now, i think i can trace the source of your financial problems.

It WAS automatic. And I'm a girl, Why is why everyone responding as if I were a man. This happened a while ago and perhaps I did deserve it, but at that time it was just a very fml moment and I submitted the post for the heck of it. Last thing I thought it would do is get approved.
