Today, I bought an expensive dress because it was me and my boyfriend's one year anniversary, and he was taking me somewhere nice. When he saw me in the dress, he looked at me, laughed and said, "Seriously, what are you wearing?" FML

just how ugly was this dress? sometimes $$$$$ does not mean quality.

So it was an expensive ugly dress? Did you really think the price tag made it better? Most people will recognize ugly for being ugly, and a cute dress for being cute. Few people will recognize expensive for being expensive.

Well what were you wearing? seriously

wooo ur from NSW, Aussie fmls are the best

correction: "my boyfriend and i"

"My boyfriend's and my", actually.

Wrong. The correct way to say it is "my and my boyfriend's". EDIT: Damn same time posts lol.

"... our one-year anniversary, and my boyfriend was taking me out..." "... my boyfriend was taking me out to celebrate our one-year anniversary." Both of those work.

shut the **** up

YDI for buying an expensive dress to wear at a restaurant for a couple hours at most. If you're buying a new dress just to go out to dinner, I KNOW you have a closet full of dresses. You can wear a dress more than once you know. Yep, YDI.
