Today, I admitted to my parents that I'm a pathological liar and I would like to go get help. They didn't believe me, and told me stop making stuff up. FML

Aaronator25 tells us more.

Hey guys this is OP, you probably wont believe me, but hey that'd make me a liar so... Im still trying to convince my parents of this so i can see a professional...

So they don't believe the fact that you're a pathological liar... Which means they think it's a lie... Which gives them evidence that you ARE a pathological liar. This like lie-ception!

We'd like to believe you, OP, but we all know what an incredible liar you are. Wait, what?

#46 it was a reference to SpongeBob and Psych.

Just out of curiosity, did you come to the conclusion that you are a "pathological liar"....were to given a psychological evaluation from a professional or is this a "self diagnosis" (which would obviously have no merit since you're not a licensed psychiatrist & can't give a professional diagnosis to yourself OF yourself)...no need to answer, since we don't know if it'll be a lie or not.

Well, that might be one of the reasons they want help, to see if it's real.

For some reason I don't believe OP...

48- it's still incorrect, since OP would have to hire a plant, not set it on fire...
