Today, feeling confident, I asked my boyfriend what he thought of my new body, since I had lost 16 kilos over the past month. He told me that he missed the old me and wanted me to gain weight again. My boyfriend was the one that encouraged me to lose weight in the first place. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Visual effect
Today, my boyfriend suggested I try on some old clothes, after weeks of eating better and exercising. The good news: they fit again, and are even a little bit loose. The bad news: somehow, I look fatter now than I did before I started trying to lose weight. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend that I gained a few pounds and thought I looked fat. He replied that I looked the same and that I shouldn't worry because he likes fat girls. I never thought I was fat before this. FML
Roll with it
Today, my boyfriend encouragingly told me that he could tell I was losing weight, all because I had one roll fewer than usual on my stomach. FML
Quite rightly so
Today, after my ex helped me drop over a hundred pounds, I broke up with him because I looked and felt so much better, and knew I could do better. Turns out he was the only thing keeping me slim, as I've put back on over twenty pounds. I asked him to take me back and he told me to fuck off. FML
Booby trap
Today, I saw my boyfriend after not seeing him for 7 months. During this time, I have lost a lot of weight and am proud of it. My boyfriend didn't say anything about the lost weight. When we were alone and things started to heat up, he took off my bra and said, "I think your tits are smaller." FML
Charming
Today, my chunky boyfriend told me that he'd be less attracted to me if I gained weight. I have low self-esteem. FML
Today, my girlfriend dumped me because I've recently become serious about getting fit, and have lost nearly 84 pounds. Apparently, when I was fat, I made her look smaller in comparison. When I got slimmer, she insisted I either gain the weight back or she'd leave. So she did. FML
Thanks, honey.
Today, I noticed that I've been gaining some weight. Don't worry, my boyfriend doesn't mind. His new favorite thing is putting my boobs on his head and saying he feels "safe". FML
Epitaph
Today, I asked my boyfriend to honestly tell me if I had become overweight. He replied that yes, I had, but that it was OK because I was his "Lumpy Space Princess." FML
Today, I was telling my boyfriend about how self conscious I am and how I obsess about my weight. He said, "Don't be ridiculous, you don't need to lose THAT much weight." FML

To lose 16 kilo's in 1 month, you need to burn 4500 kilocalories more than you eat each day. The only ways to do that are if you - run for two hours a day and eat absolutely nothing (wich is not very healthy) or - have cancer (with is of course even less healthy) Also, your skin can't adapt that fast, so there are probably hanging loose folds of skin from OP's entire body now.

16 kilos in one month. That can't be good.

if you like the new look, stay that way! You are lighter and at a healthier weight. He is probably jealous other guys may notice you now.

Yeah unless she was already healthy... The smaller you are doesn't mean the healthier you are....

Unfortunately, if she lost that much weight in such a short time she's just going to put it back on again...

If this is indeed true (which I doubt it is), YDI for trying to kill yourself for him. Even if you're eating 2000 Calories a day, you'd have to burn 6000. There's no way you could maintain that kind of intensity for a month unless you're on "the Biggest Loser ranch."

What if she was a mountain of fat? Then 35 pounds wouldn't be that much, no?
HJB 0
It wouldn't be that much no... but in a month that's more than a pound a day... Unless she's lucky that gives a good chance of being malnourished and possibly looking sickly....

You asked him what he thought, and he answered honestly.

That makes no sense. Who likes fat girls?

YDI for giving into your boyfriend's demands of losing weight... changing your weight is something you should only do for yourself, if at all.

She said he "encouraged" her to lose weight. That doesn't mean he told her to. When I get upset with my weight and start complaining about it, my boyfriend encourages me to do something about it. Not because he cares what I weigh, but because he wants me to be happy with myself. He could have easily been encouraging her in the same way, but maybe she took it overboard and he doesn't really like the outcome. Or maybe he said something like, "I liked your body before," as a way of saying he liked her either way, and she took it the WRONG way. There are many ways to interpret this without immediately jumping on the, "OMG UR BF IS A JERK!" bandwagon.

Yeah no shit. Or maybe she just went overboard... 16 kilos is a lot, maybe she's too skinny now. There is such a thing, you know. A lot of girls don't seem to understand that...

#54: Yeah, there's really no way to do that healthily. It'd still hurt her, no matter what her starting weight was.
