Today, after burning all my past-papers, books and notes in celebration of finishing maths forever, I found out I have to re-take my maths exam to get the minimum grade for college. FML

Today, I cheated on my math exam. I still failed. FML
Today, I failed a calculus exam because I simply was too burnt out to study for it. I have not wanted to even look at a math problem since the beginning of the year, and I procrastinate all day instead of doing work, and it leads me here, typing at 2 a.m. to random strangers while having to get up tomorrow at 7. FML
Today, I had the worst day of my life. I'd studied science for the whole damn night, only to realize the next morning that it's a math exam. FML
Today, I failed my maths exam because of one single question, which I have been practicing for months and gotten very good at it. It was the first question… however, when the exam started, I forgot it all. FML
Today, I had my final economics exam, and needed to ace it, or else I would fail the entire module. After studying all day yesterday, and pulling an all-nighter today, I managed to pull it off and get a perfect score. Unfortunately, my teacher didn't believe that it was possible, and accused me of cheating. Now I may be thrown out of college. FML
Today, a few people in my class used calculators on the math final exam, even though it clearly stated at the top that they weren't allowed. The teacher found out, and now everyone has to retake the 200-question exam. I didn't even use a calculator. FML
Today, after having spent all of last night studying for an algebra test, I find out that the test was on a completely different chapter of my textbook. FML
Today, I got my first university math midterm back. I did so bad that my teacher put a sadface on the first page. FML
Today, I found out that I've been taking the wrong math class all semester. We're only a few weeks from finals and I have no drops left. FML
Today, I had a maths test and I realised that I'd studied the wrong topics. The teacher said the test would be difficult and I stayed up till 1 a.m. just to be prepared. FML

Why do so many people think they can just throw away or destroy their papers and stuff when they THINK they are done? Keep hold of crap for 6 months before tossing it just to make sure.

Why would op think they were done? If college is the plan, there are bound to be mandatory math classes for pretty much any major but liberal arts.

They probably just took their last final and figured they were done. I guess they didn't take into account FAILING one of those finals. Oh well. There are some online sites that can be very helpful, or just ask a friend who didn't burn their stuff... But this is so something I would have done, seriously, I tried. I wanted to burn this book I had to read for school when we were done with it, my mom wouldn't let me. Turns out I need the book this year so I'm glad she didn't let me burn it. Though it’s definitely going after this semester....

Jackieeee93- Well, I am not going to throw mine away, ever. I love math. I'm not doing so good in it right now because of my talkative instinct with my bestie, but still. I am in 7th grade but when I think I'm done, I'm still keeping my math stuff. Plus it said she already burned and tossed them so she can't keep them anymore nor can she get them back.

Not saying it was not stupid, but as someone who attends school in SE Asia, college/high school text books are generally either cheap or, sometimes, free. They are usually pretty worthless by the time one is finished using them. Either way, it was dumb.

The same thing happened to me. I hated high school so much that I just destroyed everything to do with it. Then had to resit maths in college. It wasn't that bad though, they provided me with new books and stuff.
