This job sucks
Today, the thirteenth new hire quit at the call center I work at, while still in training. We just started last week with a wave of 20 new hires. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, we had two of our longest serving coworkers retire at the company I work at, and they hired two young prospects to replace them. The problem? They asked me to train them both for the next 4 months, cancelling my PTO in the process, and then I learned they were being paid nearly 20% more than I am. FML
Today, whilst in the last week of my notice period, I was instructed by my boss to tell six new employees that their jobs had fallen through before they'd even started. Later that afternoon, I received a call from my line manager. Guess whose own job has fallen through too. FML
Today, I was supposed to start a new job. I had accepted a new position with a different company three weeks ago, and gave my notice. At the time, I even trained my replacement. Today, I found out that my new work doesn't need me anymore. So, I'm unemployed. FML
Today, after I got hired on at a new job with perfect hours and pay, worked my two-week notice at my old job, now one week into new job, they let me go because they’re overstaffed and I’m the newest hire. FML
Today, after resigning from my current job, I was let go from the new job I hadn't even started yet. FML
Today, after a string of crappy employees had come and gone over the month, I was joking to my manager that maybe we should move the "Now Hiring" sign further away from the trash can so we'd stop getting garbage hires. The new girl was right behind me. I'll be her trainer all week. FML
Today, I became the senior receptionist at my job, which is supposed to have three receptionists. The others all had life changes, so they're moving on, which is fair, but now I have to train new people. I've been here three weeks. FML
Today, it's my first day as the boss, after waiting months for this promotion. Today is also the day my replacement, who I trained for three months, quit. Now I've got two jobs for the price of one. FML
Today, our sales administrator quit in the middle of the shift because he was tired of all the bullshit that was involved with running a business. FML
Today, I lost my job to the individual I just finished training. Within 2 hours after being escorted out, my old boss called and yelled at me for doing a lousy job. He was angry that the training was deficient and because the new person is as bad as I was. FML

Sounds like your company sucks. I worked for a place that treated their employees terribly and we had the same problem.

Time to make the management think about what's wrong. If you're in the management team and face difficulties to get things to change, maybe time to get your own way out.

Sux when you need employees and they quit. But this is a learning time. Do they quit because they have no work ethic (one or two, yes)? or because of the management (individuals)? or because of company policies set by management? time to dig deeper

Time to ask for a raise, a promotion, more paid vacation and your own Swingline stapler.

Could you go ahead and make more Office Space references? That'd be great.

Um, yeah. I’m going to have to ask you to come in on Saturday.

Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, thirteen is probably your own dang fault.

Companies will always hire in waves… they expect most to leave and only a few to survive.
