This is how I roll

Today, I went out to where I'd parked my bike only to find that someone had stolen my bike seat. Not the bike, just the seat. I had to ride my bike two miles home in the rain like I was climbing a hill in the Tour de France, while other cyclists moved out of my way in confusion, all while trying to avoid me. FML

Fall

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.

People are often surprised at what thieves are willing to take. The wheels alone are worth a bob or two. Bike lights, too. If they can't get the whole thing, then they'll take any parts they can get off the bike. When next you chain your bike up, chain the wheels to whatever you're parked up against, take the seat and any bike lights you're using. Better to be safe than sorry. Just pray the next thief doesn't have an angle grinder. Sucks that you had to ride like that. Hope you replace your bike seat soon.
