Sorry for your loss
Today, I got a call from my optometrist. I ignored the call, because I already knew I had my appointment tomorrow. When I listened to my messages later, I found out it was from his secretary, saying all of his appointments have been canceled due to him passing away last night. FML

#30, the post isn't unclear. What is unclear is how this is an FML for the OP. What difference would answering the phone have made? Same outcome either way. Is OP seriously complaining because a doctor she sees once a year inconvenienced her? FHfamily'sL, not hers.

Well, that's not an FML on your part. who knew he would die? R.I.P., nonetheless, but it isn't an FML :/

So let me get this straight. A man died leaving his family devastated and you're upset you're not getting your appt? Way to think of only yourself. ydi

I'm sorry but this man dying is devastating to his family and a minor inconvenience for you. So I'm really not feeling too bad for you.
