Today, I found out that my mother, who's been against me seeking treatment for my cancer, has been going to different churches and charities to get donations for her "poor ailing daughter." I've not seen a dime of this money, and my mom just tells me to pray my cancer away. FML

Today, I got into a heated argument with my mom. Apparently, my seeking medicinal treatments for my cancer is blasphemous. According to her, I should just pray my cancer away. FML
Today, I found out my mom has literally spent all her savings sending money to some bullshit-peddling megachurch televangelist, who apparently told her that giving them money would ensure her future fortune. Tithings, my ass. FML
Today, my mother in law basically said I deserve my breast cancer, all because I declined to take part in one of her "March Against Cancer" events a while ago. I guess donating money to cancer research instead of going on a meaningless march really messed up my karma. FML
Today, my sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer. My mother then confided in me that she suspected it was a prank to get more money from our family. FML
Today, I saw a Facebook post from my mom about my cancer, how she’s exhausted caring for me, and quit her job to be by my side, blah blah blah. The woman hasn’t set foot in my house in 11 months after I got a restraining order against her, and my "cancer" is a mole I’m getting removed next week. FML
Today, after months of helping my mother with bills because she claimed she had no money, I found out she makes way more than what I do. She just wanted my money for alcohol and drugs. FML
Today, I found out my mom has been stealing from me to pay for Scientology courses. FML
Today, I discovered that, according to her primary doctor, my mom never had cancer. That explains why she has the new iPhone, a plethora of designer purses, and a brand new Tesla. Turns out, I’ve been fueling her shopping spree habit, rather than her “cancer and chemotherapy treatments.” FML
Today, I called my mother to tell her about my terminal cancer diagnosis. She responded with, "What makes you think I care at all?" before hanging up. FML
Today, my mother told my little sister and me that she has breast cancer to make us feel sorry so that we would clean our rooms. She is perfectly fine. My little sister still thinks that "mommy is going to die". FML

I’d report her to the police and see about getting it on the news. If she’s hitting up churches, she’s hitting up other places. Who knows how much she has stolen. And is probably encouraging you to not seek treatment so she can drag this out longer or say you aren’t responding and need more expensive treatment. Sure, she will probably end up in jail. But it’s better than you ending up in a grave because donations to your treatment were not given to you.

Seriously OP, you need treatment and your mom needs jail time. She is committing fraud by doing things as she is and you need to seek professional help with your health issues. Praying away cancer is not possible, only science has actually changed the outcome of cancer on a consistent basis. As to your mom, she seriously needs to go to jail for the fraud, but even more so for endangering the life of her child as she has.

I think, even though I know about people who have become cancer-free because of prayer, that The Lord has blessed us with a well working and advanced medical system that we can receive treatment from, and that I myself owe my life to. So maybe you should sit your mother down and take a serious talk to her, and if she hasn't already done so, make her understand.
