Today, my boyfriend asked me to write him a poem, as I am an avid writer. Happily, I agreed. After hours of working, I proudly presented it to him. He read it, laughed, and said, "No babe, I meant a real poem." Maybe I should rethink my career choice. FML

Some people just don't understand poems like others do. I bet it's good.

It's only one person's potentially flawed opinion on merely one piece of work you've produced. As a result. I don't think it's appropriate for you to make the conclusion that you suck and everything you've written and will write is not as good as you think it is.

Whether or not it was good, he should of appreciated the gesture instead of being an ass about it.

If you are considering a career as a poet, you should rethink that regardless of what your boyfriend says. You just can't beat: A woman from North Carolina Strung catgut across her ****** With proper-sized cocks Her **** would play Bach's Tocatta and Fugue in D Mina

A lot of people don't consider free-verse poems to be real poems, as dumb as that is.
