Macabre date

Today, I had to go to a birthday party for 10 year-old triplets. They've all been dead for more than 9 years. FML

Collection

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

my friends parents invite us all over for their daughters birthday to hang out and remember her, when she died 7 years ago, they do it every year.

To all you cold hearted people, it may be important to the parents. A celebration remembering the little life their three babies DID live.

i think your all dumb as hell cuz #39 was "comment moderated" and #29 was the crude joke...so b4 all u shit head followers keep sayin how insensitive 39 was get your damn numbers right ******* *****...and yes it is sad and 29 was a shit heel for sayin that

I think it's very important that we respect the feelings of people we don't know and never will, especially on a website as serious as this. You're all being shallow and pedantic.

op, are you sure it was a birthday party and not a memorial service? was there icecream and cake? were there party hats? games? did they sing the happy birthday song? on the other hand, if it WAS a birthday party, then after nine years the family needs counciling to help them move on.

The person that posted this obviuously doesnt have a child because you fall in love immediatly! I respect these ppl for being able to get out of the bed in the morning. For all the nagative comments you will slap yourself in the face when you have a kid because then maybe you will understand. I think some of you are to low that even when you have a child you will still be to selfish to understand..

That's so... morbid. :( I guess if I were in their shoes, I would rather celebrate their life every year than mourn their death every year.

that's just plain mean
