We've been together for nine years. He's only known her for a week. FML

I think there's a few issues here that need to be addressed asap. You should probably sit down and talk everything over with him, as none of that seems like it would be healthy at all

leave him. if she's an ex it doesn't matter what she thinks, if he's with you then it doesn't matter what his family thinks. he owns his reality or he doesn't. if he doesn't, leave. how long will this go on for otherwise? I'm sure you can do better than this.
