La la land
Today, I confided to my dad that since the recent breakup with my boyfriend of 3 months, I feel down all the time and life doesn't feel worth living anymore. His loving advice was for me to "grow the fuck up and get your sentimental head out of la-la land." FML

your dad is right. there is so much worse and figuring you're still living at home with dad let's me know you sound too young to date anyway if life isnt worth living over a 3 month relationship. grow the fkk up is right. you better prepare for real disappointment like 4 kids and then a divorce. then talk about not living

You must be a teenager. Get over it and go out with someone else. Welcome to the real world.

Suck it up doll. it was only three months and it won't be your last break up. Save the tears for when you actually invest time, emotions and money into a relationship.

I know how you feel. I had practically the same thing happen to me with the same relationship circumstances.

He should have said "i wish I can see it from your point of view but I can't seem to get my head that far up my ass" and then went to go beat up your ex who made you feel suicidel... (feel free to correct my spelling)

in a way he's right. no matter how close you were to him or how you felt about him, you need to handle it like an adult. id be pissed off if my kid tried telling me she feels like dying because of a failed relationship. it's insulting to yourself.
