Is that how it works?
Today, I tested positive for COVID… again. This pandemic has been going on for so long that after 11 months, my natural immunity has apparently worn off. I'm in the next group for the vaccine. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, despite getting all vaccinations and taking all precautions, I've tested positive for Covid. Again. FML
Today, I'm in quarantine after testing positive for Covid. Two weeks after starting a new job. Two months after receiving the vaccine. FML
Today, I tested positive for COVID. This wouldn’t be a big deal, except my entire family has now fallen like a stack of dominos, and despite being asymptomatic, I now have to quarantine. My work stopped doing COVID leave in November. FML
Today, I tested positive for COVID-19. I just spent 5 weeks at a job training and was supposed to go on holiday on Monday, the first since 2019. Now I can’t even go home and hug my son. FML
Today, I was tested positive for Covid-19, after suffering with some of the symptoms of the disease two days ago. Last week, I had to pretend I was infected with it to avoid going to a friend's party, as my ex-girlfriend would be there. Ain't life a bitch? FML
Today, I was supposed to have my bridal shower, an experience I’ve looked forward to since I was a little girl. Yesterday I tested positive for Covid, for the third time in three years. FML
Today, I got my first positive Covid test. It's also the first day of a week-long vacation that included two things I'd been planning for weeks that I haven't done in years, and a trip somewhere I've been looking forward to for months. All shot to hell right before it began. FML
Today, I woke up with a dry cough, which is a red flag for COVID. I took a home test, came up positive; went to a doctor, same result. I get home, mask up, and tell my roommates to test. I'm still in the process of telling the family I can't make it for Thanksgiving when my roomies test positive, too. FML
Today, after a year and a half of overexploitation at work without getting paid for it, I can finally have a deserved vacation. Why? I caught Covid. FML
Today, I was going over my vaccinations when I spotted that I hadn't gotten my Covid vaccine since last year. Not a big deal, my doctor hadn't made a mention of it on the last visit, and I got my flu shot last month. At least it wouldn't be a big deal if my friend hadn't tested positive for Covid last week. FML

The immunity only lasts 3-6 months. So of course it's gone by now.

There's different strains of it, you may have a different one! People can get the flu multiples times a year for the same reason.

YDI for not taking enough precautions and thinking you'd be immune. It does not have to be a different strain for you to contract it again. Nowhere has anyone said immunity is known to last more than about three months. Even vaccines aren't 100%. You need to be more cautious!

Are you insane? There's people who's jobs require them to be near others and UNFORTUNATELY you need a job to pay bills. You can still catch it by accident. Even by washing hands, new masks multiple times a day, hand sanitizer 200%, or even if you don't have a job and get your groceries delivered. You don't get to make that claim if you use any resource on the planet that requires someone else to get it for you. You would have to literally never leave home or go near anyone and grow your own food to accomplish that. Go enjoy the freedom of buying groceries, getting takeout and using the hospital. You're obviously immune and everyone else is at fault.
