I NEED URGENT ASSISTANCE
Today, I have watched the Elmo's World episode featuring balls ten times in a row. The toddler I'm watching screams if I put on something different. His mom just said she was stuck in traffic. She should be back in about five and a half more replays. FML

I guess i should b grateful that my son likes 2 movies, cars & cars 2; much longer, less repetition

My little sister went through a stage where all she would watch was Mulan, every single day. At least that was a movie and the was the first and second one out at the time. The songs are now stuck in my head forever. Think of it this way, at least you get to go home and don't have to watch it there.

Put on something different and have a screaming contest.

Maybe actually play with the child instead of just watching television with him?

I knew Elmo was a creep after he started asking strangers to tickle him, but asking strangers to watch his balls is just sick.

Op you're basically telling the child that if they cry and scream they'll get what they want, now a good thing to teach them.

Can you go somewhere else?

I don't blame the kid that episode was awesome

That's what happens when you have and/or look after toddlers. I could quote you the whole script and each song from Home at this point, as well as Hotel Transylvania 2. Drives me batty.

Hehehehe... "Batty".

I've known many little ones like the same episode of the same programme over and over, and their parents being so sick of it. Count down the replays and take deep breaths, then buy the kid the DVD of the programme so that everyone can enjoy the same characters but with much more variety!

If there was only some kind of device to distract you so you shouldn't have to watch that. That would be great. Ow yeah your phone

Phones are expensive. Toddlers are destructive, and this one isn't even OP's kid. It's one thing if the parents are at their wits' end.
